Jaime Williams lashes out on 'The Ingraham Angle' as migrants replace students, Internet dubs it 'insane'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: A Democratic legislator from New York State, Jaime Williams has called on the Biden administration to shut down the southern border on ‘The Ingraham Angle.’
This request comes in response to migrants reaching her daughter's school, leading to the implementation of remote learning for students.
During an appearance on ‘The Ingraham Angle,’ Assemblywoman Williams emphasized the pressing need to address the surge in migrants.
Following this news, Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share her conversation with Williams and several people on the internet shared their opinion on the issue.

Jaime Williams expressed concern that the influx of asylum seekers has overwhelmed the city's capacity and requires immediate action.
This came after approximately 2,000 migrants were relocated from a tent shelter at Floyd Bennett Field in New York City to James Madison High School this week due to weather-related concerns.
This move led to the closure of the school for virtual learning on Wednesday, sparking bipartisan criticism from both lawmakers and parents.
They have accused the city of placing the needs of asylum seekers above those of their own children.
In this regard, Williams told Laura Ingraham, “Why wait till tomorrow? Our districts are benefactors of lawlessness. We can't wait until tomorrow. We have to turn off the main at the faucet, and that is closing our borders. Plain and simple."
She continued, “There's no tools to find. There's no new words to invent. It's plain English. Close the borders and let's deal with the situation instead of putting the American citizens in a predicament where you have other people over them.”
“It's unfair to each and every taxpaying American, not only in my district but in this country. It is not fair to us."
Williams described the incident as "disruptive," expressing uncertainty about what challenges may arise if the current influx of migrants is already causing her daughter and other students to be displaced from their classrooms.
She said, “Definitely concerning as a parent, as a representative for the area, very disruptive to our students.”
"It's not fair to our parents. I was also there this morning and the community is just outraged, because here you have the migrants being placed over our own children and our community. What's next?"
Apparently, Williams isn't the sole Democrat expressing dissent over the decision.
NYC Comptroller Brad Lander has also criticized the placement of migrants at Floyd Bennett Field, pointing out the mismanagement and financial inefficiency evident in City Hall's handling of shelter and services for asylum seekers.
While Mayor Eric Adams faces criticism for the migrant relocation, he has engaged in recent conflicts with the federal government.
He has pleaded with the Biden administration for assistance, especially as migrants are transported to his city and other sanctuary cities across the country.
