LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Country singer Jason Bradley DeFord, popularly known as Jerry Roll, reached a major fitness milestone by losing 100 lbs in his weight loss journey, reported People on Wednesday, October 23.
The 39-year-old singer shared the announcement in a video message on the social media platform Instagram on the previous day, where he told his fans, "Next year when y’all see me, you won’t recognize me.”
"I’m going to get under a pile of weights in a way that I never had,” said Jelly, mentioning that he would be touring in Canada in March of next year. According to Billboard, the singer once claimed to have weighed above 500 lbs.

Jelly Roll's nutrition coach shares his regimen
Nutrition coach Ian Larios, who has been accompanying the singer on his ongoing 'Beautifully Broken' tour, shared insights into Jelly's healthier lifestyle in the video clip on Instagram.
"We just passed the halfway point of the tour, and Jelly’s been crushing it,” said Larios, noting that the physical activities undertaken by the singer through this process include walking around the arena and engaging in sports such as basketball and boxing.
Jelly has been on a high-protein diet, mentioned Larios, as he demonstrated preparing a few healthy recipes for the singer. The first of them was a pre-show snack comprising chopped bananas served with Manuka honey, Stevia, and dark chocolate shavings. It is a "little bit fancier" and helps "fuel (Jelly) before a show."
After a performance, Jelly is served with a healthier version of Nashville hot chicken, sans the oil and usual batter. Larios elaborated that the coating of the chicken breasts is made with potato flour and rice flour, which is then air-fried.
"He’s gonna feel like he’s eating at home," said Larios, adding that it helps the singer to stay on track.
