Aniston and Parton worked together on the 2018 film 'Dumplin', with Aniston starring in the movie and Parton contributing music to the soundtrack. Parton’s death has sent shockwaves across Hollywood, prompting several celebrities to pay tribute to the “Jolene” singer, who died at the age of 80.

Aniston attended an event on Wednesday, September 2, at Kaufmann Concert Hall at 92NY in New York City. She and her boyfriend, Jim Curtis, discussed several topics. The 'Friends' star was at the venue to interview her boyfriend but also answered a few questions about herself.
Talking about Parton, the 57-year-old actress shared, “She would say, ‘I chased a few rainbows, and I caught some.’”
Aniston recalled that Parton also encouraged her to live life to the fullest and make the most of every moment. “So I would say just go chase your dreams and go catch some rainbows. Chase rainbows,” she added.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Aniston said recording with Parton was both “terrifying and fun.” “But I had Dolly and (producer) Linda Perry there, who were just patient and wonderful,” Aniston said.
Dolly Parton dies at 80 after brief cancer battle
The iconic singer died at the age of 80 in Nashville, Tennessee, following a brief battle with cancer. Her death was announced by her nephew, Brian Seaver, on Instagram. “I have imagined the heaviness of this moment but haven’t truly felt it until now,” he wrote. “It is an honour, an honour that is mixed with absolute pride and great sadness.”
Parton’s team also confirmed her death, saying, “Dolly departed her Earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center surrounded by loved ones.”
The country music legend left behind a remarkable career spanning decades. Songs such as 'Jolene', '9 to 5', and 'I Will Always Love You' turned her into a global icon. She was also celebrated as an actress, appearing in films including '9 to 5', 'Steel Magnolias', and 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas'.
Even though Parton never had children of her own, she shared a close bond with her nieces and nephews.
