Jennifer Stone says Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco 'could not have dreamed up a better' match

During an interview with Parade, the actress said that she “just could not be happier” for Gomez. Recalled how the young 'love on' singer had dreamt of her future wedding day. “We grew up together. I mean, she was my high school best friend, and it was something that she had talked about wanting since we were teenagers,” she explained.
Now that Gomez is married, it seems she has found her happiness and fulfilled her childhood dream. Now, talking about Gomez and Blanco's love story, Stone said, “She’s such a special human being, and she deserves someone so special that sees her and honors her and takes care of each other, and they take care of each other.”
She added, “I think Benny’s incredible and I could not have dreamed up a better partnership for each other. And that’s my favorite part - the fact that they’re just good for each other." Stone recalled that she 'was in a mess' when she saw her friend Gomez walking down the aisle.
“Oh, dude. I mean, I was a mess. I was an absolute mess,” she recalled. “We used to, back in dressing rooms, talk about who our husbands would be, and her being a mom, and all of these different things. And so the moment she walked down the aisle, I lost it.”
She continued, “I lost it. I literally... just because it was everything that, as a teenager, she talked about wanting.” The actress recalled that she was “just crying intermittently during the whole ceremony.”
“She goes, ‘Don’t worry, honey, you’ll find someone one day.’ And I was like, ‘That’s not why I’m crying,’ ” Stone recalled. “But no, I was a total puddle and just so happy for her and Benny because they’re such a good couple and they’re so kind to each other. And that’s really nice to see, and something I always hoped for her.”

Gomez and Blanco tied the knot on September 7. The couple opted for an outdoor ceremony in Santa Barbara, California. They started dating in June 2023, and after 6 months (December), Gomez officially confirmed her relationship with Blanco.
The couple took one year to announce their engagement, and on December 11, 2024, they surprised their fans. At her wedding, all the A-listers were present, and a couple of days later, images were shared.
