WASHINGTON, DC: In a recent broadcast, Fox News host Jesse Watters has stirred controversy by demanding an investigation into Tim Walz, the Democratic vice-presidential candidate, due to what he describes as questionable connections with China.

In his broadcast, Watters argued that the Department of Justice could launch an investigation into Walz, labeling him as a figure who might need to be scrutinized for potential Chinese connections.

Jesse Watters proposes investigation into 'Walls-E'

"You could have, you could have, if you had a Department of Justice on the right that was weaponized, you could then launch an investigation into the Democrat ticket, because Walls-E, the Great Walz of China, Tiananmen 10, he's definitely someone who needs to be investigated, right? I'd look into him, I'd open a counterintelligence investigation, I would totally tap all the phones and walls and all of this crooked Chinese. I'm not gonna go there, but you want me to? I won't," Watters said.

According to the New York Post, the controversy centers around Walz’s extensive history with China. In the summer of 1989, newly graduated Walz chose to teach in China, arriving just as the Tiananmen Square protests were unfolding.

Despite the turmoil, Walz decided to proceed with his plans, believing in the importance of people-to-people diplomacy.

Over the decades, Walz has maintained a deep engagement with China, including numerous visits and leading student trips to the country. His connection to China, marked by teaching English in Foshan and leading educational tours, has been described as a significant part of his career.

Jesse Watters criticizes government earmarks and proposes overhaul of healthcare spending

Jesse Watters is critical of both the current administration's approach to tariffs and its handling of government spending, particularly earmarks. He questions why the Biden administration has retained tariffs imposed during the Trump era if tariffs are as detrimental as critics claim.

Watters points out that the administration did not remove these tariffs, which he argues contradicts their criticism of the policy.

“It's going to be fun to watch Musk and Tucker and RFK Jr just wandering around the White House while Jessica just freaks out. Jessica, if tariffs are so bad, why did Joe and Kamala leave all Trump tariffs in against China? Why didn't they take them out? They didn't. They left them all. Yes, they did. They did more. They took off. I don't can't because you didn't listen.”

Jesse Watters criticizes what he views as wasteful government spending, particularly focusing on earmarks—specific allocations of funds for certain projects within larger budgets, he argues that examining these earmarks line by line reveals significant waste.

“Jessica, let me explain something. One way we can get rid of the bloat is to just go line by line on some of these earmarks. Look what Democrats want: $850,000 for bus stop equity in California. I don't think you could explain that either."

He added, "How about $500,000 for an anti-racist oyster wreath, all right? Or how about $850,000 to put solar panels on a tiny prison on a Pacific island I can't even pronounce? You start there, but most of the bloat in government is Healthcare."

In his conclusion, Jesse Watters argues for a radical overhaul of the US healthcare system. He suggests that bringing RFK Jr into the conversation could help address what he sees as the root causes of healthcare issues.

He concluded, "If you bring RFK Jr in, we can stop. No one has any healthcare. We can stop spending all of this money on treating the symptoms, you know, because most of the federal budget is Medicare."

He continued, "So if you go in and you make America healthy again and you stop the food industry from poisoning the country and you change our lifestyle, we're not going to have to spend hundreds of billions of dollars treating a sick and unhappy country, okay.”
