NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On the Thursday, May 23, epsiode of Fox News' 'The Five', Jesse Watters discussed Trump visiting the Bronx, suggesting voters are like women who want attention lavished on them.

As per Fox News, on May 23, Trump held a rally at Crotona Park in the Bronx, drawing an estimated 25,000 supporters, significantly exceeding the expected 3,500. Several attendees outside the venue waited for hours to get inside, even after the event had started.

On the segment, Watters' comments came after he questioned criticism of Trump's presidency being a disaster for the Bronx, citing improvements in prices, rents, crime, and migrant issues during his term.

He also rejected accusations of racism against Trump based on events from the 1980s, noting his past popularity among Black Americans.

Watters noted that Trump is now targeting Biden's voter base, a departure from typical campaign strategies, before saying, "Voters are like women. They want to be courted. They want you to lavish attention on them."

"So the Bronx is now like hey, where you been all my life? Come over here. And he’s coming and he is going to come strong."

Watters then emphasized Trump's strong campaign strategy, suggesting that while New York might not be ideal, replicating this approach in deep blue precincts in cities like Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Atlanta, and Detroit could significantly impact the election.

"If you can even just get in a battleground, maybe three to four more percent of the Black and Hispanic vote in these cities. That makes a huge difference in November," he said.

Responding to Watters, Dana mentioned that a recent poll in New Hampshire showed Trump leading over Biden, criticizing Biden's recent campaign efforts in the state, as "the weakest".

Watters slammed for 'sexist' comment

Jesse Watters' comment comparing voters to women was called out for being outright "sexist and misogynistic".

One viewer shared, "Well its fox news casual sexism is part of the brand."

In a similar vein, another observer chimed in, "Jesse Watters obviously doesn’t know what women want…."

Moreover, a viewer highlighted, "Voters are like women, and that's why I bloviate on Fox non-news.."

Adding to the conversation, a viewer contributed, "Lol never take woman advice from a guy who cheated on his wife."

A comment emphasized, "Time for him to crawl back under that rock in mother's basement.."
