LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fox News host Jesse Watters didn't pull any punches as he dissected actor Robert De Niro's recent remarks outside a New York City courtroom, where closing arguments were being delivered in the hush money trial of former President Trump.

Watters, known for his incisive commentary, took aim at De Niro's vocal criticism against Trump.

On 'Jesse Watters Primetime', Jesse Watters unloaded on actor Robert De Niro for his remarks during a press conference at the courthouse steps.

Jesse Watters considers press conference an orchestrated spectacle

Watters wasted no time in dissecting the significance of the moment. "There's an old cliche in criminal psychology: 'The criminal always returns to the scene of the crime'," Watters remarked, invoking a timeless trope in criminal psychology.

He likened the Biden campaign's presence at the courthouse to a brazen return to the scene of their alleged political machinations, suggesting a tacit acknowledgment of their involvement in the trial of former President Trump.

As Watters continued his commentary, he painted a vivid picture of the actors involved in this political drama. From De Niro, who was trying to "slow the spread of populism," to Capitol police officers-turned-media figures, each character played a role in what Watters portrayed as a carefully orchestrated spectacle.

Jesse Watters claims Robert De Niro went 'off-script'

Watters said, "The criminal brought with him his co-conspirators- old men in black. Punchy Bobby De Niro, wearing a mask, still trying to slow the spread of populism and the two Capitol police officers who played starring roles in the January 6th hearing, had book deals, CNN gigs and even ran for Congress."

"Usually, when criminals return to a crime scene, they do it for the sick thrill. But the Biden campaign just came to confess."

During the press conference, the 'Goodfellas' actor unleased a fiery rant against Trump. Referring to Trump's successful 2016 run for president, De Niro said Trump's candidacy was initially laughed off as a joke.

"We've forgotten the lessons of history that showed us other clowns who weren't taken seriously until they became vicious dictators," he said. "With Trump we have a second chance and no one is laughing now. This is the time to stop him by voting him out once and for all."

"If he gets in, I can tell you right now, he will never leave," said De Niro.

“I don’t mean to scare you. No, wait, maybe I do mean to scare you,” the actor told reporters. “If Trump returns to the White House, you can kiss these freedoms goodbye that we all take for granted.”

Robert De Niro's presence at the press conference and his anti-Trump rant came in for scathing criticism from Watters.

"The most powerful man in the world sent an actor who plays a mob boss to intimidate the jury before deliberations."

He added, "Biden made an actor read a script in lower Manhattan saying his opponent is worse than 9/11. And then the actor slipped and went off-script and admitted he's trying to scare you. In politics, you can't admit you're trying to scare voters. It's not the movies."
