WASHINGTON, DC: Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of John F Kennedy, jokingly announced that he's "having a son" with Vice President JD Vance's wife, Usha, in a social media post on Sunday, April 6.

Interestingly, Schlossberg is known to play with the thin line between fact and fiction in the past and has admitted that he often makes weird posts to make a point about the current state of news and media, according to People.

He added, "Whenever you're ready, I'm here for you. This isn't the way Usha. There's still time."

In February 2025, Schlossberg said on MSNBC's podcast 'The Blueprint with Jen Psaki', "I think that the internet is a place where it's difficult to break through, and it's difficult to break through especially if you're not saying something that's controversial, or at least, somehow unexpected."

He added back then, "And I think that I see that Democrats play that game not as well as we could."

He also said during the podcast, "And I think that's kind of the game that the other side's been playing really well, which is flipping people out — and getting a reaction is almost half the battle. I love my country, I love politics. I really care what happens" and added that he thinks Democrats should find "different strategies to break through."
