Jimmy Carter votes for Kamala Harris, confirms son Chip Carter

On being asked if Jimmy Carter voted for Kamala Harris, Chip Carter responded with, "Absolutely. He’s never voted for a Republican in his life.”

Jason addressed the DNC in August and explained why he and his grandfather are backing Harris for president: "Kamala Harris carries my grandfather’s legacy. She knows what is right, and she fights for it. She understands that leadership is about service, not about selfishness."

"That you can show strength and demonstrate decency. And that you can get a whole lot more done with a smile than with a scowl," he added.

Jimmy has been in hospice care since February 2023, according to People.
