LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jimmy Fallon recently delivered a series of witty jabs at Donald Trump and his son, Donald Trump Jr, following the former president's bold claim that the US would reach Mars if he returned to the White House.

During an episode of 'The Tonight Show', Fallon quipped, “When they told Trump that Mars has no intelligent life, he said, ‘Let’s rename it Don Jr.’”

Jimmy Fallon added that Donald Trump's fascination with Mars might come from its resemblance to a selfie, joking, “Apparently, Trump is obsessed with Mars because it looks like a selfie.”

This comment was a playful dig at Trump’s well-known vanity, linking the former president's personality to his ambitions in space.

Trump made these remarks during a speech in North Carolina, where he referenced Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, expressing a desire for the US to land on Mars within his next term.

He stated, “We want to reach Mars before the end of my term,” and emphasized the need for “great military protection in space, because that’s where it’s going to be at.”

In true Jimmy Fallon style, the host commented on the gathering of world leaders in New York for the UN General Assembly.

He humorously highlighted the absurdity of Trump’s claim that "immigrants in Ohio were eating our pets," saying, “Trump is already suggesting they’re eating our pets,” and playfully remarked that while Trump wasn’t invited to speak this year, he was “holding his own UN assembly at the International House of Pancakes.”



 

As the evening progressed, Fallon shifted focus to Trump’s efforts to appeal to younger voters, poking fun at the former president’s attempts to understand Gen Z slang. "For example, Trump said…” he began, humorously portraying these attempts as both misguided and entertaining.

He continued to mimic Trump’s misinterpretations, saying, “Next up, he said… Seuss -Dr Sus,” and followed up with several other amusing takes on Trump’s attempts at understanding slang.

In a humorous segment, Jimmy Fallon invited a fictional campaign spokesman to discuss Donald Trump’s chaotic campaign.

The conversation was a mix of absurdity and humor, with Fallon noting, “Your campaign has had a lot to deal with,” while highlighting controversies such as “the false claim that immigrants in Ohio were eating pets” and “a questionable Trump debate performance.”

The night also featured a light-hearted tribute to Bruce Springsteen on his 75th birthday, with Fallon saying, “Not many bosses in New Jersey make it to 75.”

Fallon also introduced a lighthearted segment where he playfully suggested more fitting headlines for various news photos, showcasing his comedic flair in commenting on current events.
