Meanwhile, a source informed WCAX that Biden was in the area to attend his grandson’s graduation.
On May 13, a spokesperson for the Democrat confirmed to ABC News that a small nodule was found in the 82-year-old's prostate after "a routine physical exam."
A few days later, Biden's office released a statement that read, "Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone," according to CNN.

The statement further said, "While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management. The president and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians."

Prostate cancer is the second most common form of cancer affecting men, after skin cancer, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Moreover, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that 13 out of every 100 men will develop prostate cancer at some point in their lives.
Biden's physical examination took place in a Philadelphia hospital a day after his appearance on ABC's 'The View'. It was one of the few appearances the former POTUS has made since leaving office, according to Mediaite.
