NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Monday, the US Navy officially identified two SEALs who were declared dead, days after they went missing during an Iranian weapons seizure off the African coast earlier this month.

Following this news, Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X to slam President Joe Biden who ignored reporters asking him about the dead Navy officers.

Many people on the internet also brutally slammed the POTUS following his reaction.

Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “Joe Biden Ignores Reporter Asking About Two Dead Navy SEALs.”

In his tweet, he shared a short clip of Joe Biden walking to his residence as reporters asked him about the two dead Navy SEALs - to which the president gave no answer.

This came after the Navy identified the two SEALs who were declared dead after going missing during an Iranian weapons seizure off the African coast earlier this month.

The two individuals were identified as Navy Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Christopher J Chambers and Navy Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class Nathan Gage Ingram.

Search and rescue efforts for the pair were discontinued on Sunday, transitioning the mission into a recovery operation, as confirmed by US Central Command.

In a statement, Biden said Ingram and Chambers “represented the very best of our country, pledging their lives to protect their fellow Americans."

Biden added, “Our hearts go out to the family members, loved ones, friends, and shipmates who are grieving for these two brave Americans. Our entire country stands with you. We will never fail to honor their service, their legacy, and their sacrifice."

Both men were involved in a nighttime mission on January 11.

The mission aimed to intercept shipments of Iranian-made weapons destined for Houthi rebels in Yemen. They were attempting to board a ship they suspected was falsely flagged, potentially involved in smuggling weapons.

Unfortunately, the mission resulted in their disappearance, leading to subsequent search and recovery operations.

Internet calls Joe Biden the ‘worst president’

Many X users took a brutal jab at Joe Biden following his snub of the question. One person wrote, “He would have to care to comment,” and another added, “Of course! He is the worst president.”

An X user simply mocked Biden saying, “Left foot, right foot, don’t trip.. don’t trip!” and another said, “Of course! Look at him! All he can focus on is putting 1 foot in front of the other in order to not trip. 🙄”.

One more person called out the president, “He didn’t have his miracle ear turned on,” and another wrote, “Didn't have his teleprompter with him.”
