AUSTIN, TEXAS: Podcaster Joe Rogan gave independent presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr his endorsement on Thursday, August 8, dismissing the two major party contenders.

This is a noteworthy endorsement for Kennedy Jr from the Internet celebrity who frequently engages in conspiracy theories.

Joe Rogan praised RFK Jr for being more reasonable and intelligent than Dems and Republicans

In his video podcast 'The Joe Rogan Experience', the host expressed the opinion that both Democrats and Republicans are distorting democratic norms, The Hill reported.

“That’s just what they do. That’s politics. They do it on the left, they do it on the right,” Rogan remarked. “They gaslight you, they manipulate you, they promote narratives, and the only one who is not doing that is Robert F Kennedy Jr.”

Rogan mentioned that he is a "fan" of Kennedy.

“He’s the only one that makes sense to me,” he said. “He’s the only one — he doesn’t attack people, he attacks actions and ideas, but he’s much more reasonable and intelligent. I mean, the guy was an environmental lawyer and he cleaned up the East River. He’s a legitimate guy.”

Kennedy and Rogan have expressed skepticism about vaccines, particularly the Covid-19 vaccine, and have propagated theories questioning its effectiveness.

Rogan's podcast, which is exclusive to Spotify, remains one of the top podcasts globally. His show features extensive, diverse conversations with guests ranging from comedians and athletes to scientists.

Kennedy's support has diminished since the beginning of his campaign, dropping to below 4 percent in the polls when pitted against former President Trump and Vice President Harris, as per the average of national polls by The Hill/Decision Desk HQ.

Robert F Kennedy Jr thanks Joe Rogan for endorsement

Following the podcast's broadcast, Robert F Kennedy Jr shared his reaction on platform X. "From one “legitimate” guy to another, thank you @JoeRogan for always putting substance first," he wrote.

He then quoted the podcaster, "'Robert F. Kennedy Jr.? He’s the only one that makes sense to me. He’s the only one that doesn’t attack people. He attacks actions and ideas. He’s much more reasonable and intelligent. The guy was an environmental attorney and cleaned up the East River. He’s a legitimate guy.' —Joe Rogan".

"This election is not about left vs. right. It's about Americans of goodwill coming together to end the tyranny of corruption in our system – so that we once again have a government and economy that works for all people. Let's do this," Kennedy Jr concluded.

Earlier Joe Rogan predicted Kamala Harris winning in November

Last week, Rogan predicted the outcome of 2024 US presidential election. He expressed his belief that Harris will win against Trump in the November election.

“I’m saying it because she could. I’m not saying it because I think she’s going to and I’m not saying it because I want her to. I’m just being honest. I could see her winning,” he said.

Rogan previously stated that in 2020, he cast his vote for Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen, following his endorsement of Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt) during the primary elections.

Internet mocks Joe Rogan for endorsing Robert F Kennedy

As the news broke on social media, users began to respond, levying criticism at Rogan.

A user wrote, "Dumb move. Wasted votes"

Another added, "Joe Rogan is a moron. He doesn’t understand what’s going on at a spiritual level. RFK is pro abortion"

The third commentator remarked, "Rogan is not an intellectual. He's a California liberal who moved to Texas. Anyone looking to him for political guidance needs to escape his echo chamber."

"Basically wasting his vote he has a bias for Kennedy anyway which is why he had him on the pod and not the others," one claimed.

One of the Trump's fans stated, "Nothing like throwing your vote away. That is ridiculous. Trump is the only one who can turn this country around."

A person said, "Terrible choice, @joerogan"

Other chimed in, "Joe had an opportunity to make a real difference and let it go by the wayside. He’s a sellout!"
