John Stamos promises to be by 'Full House' co-star Dave Coulier's side following his cancer diagnosis
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: John Stamos has promised full support to his 'Full House' co-star Dave Coulier after he was diagnosed with cancer.
Coulier recently disclosed that he is battling stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma and Stamos did not hesitate to show some brotherly love to him, accordong to People.
He took to Instagram, sharing a series of pictures of the two. The first image showed the actors in their young days as Stamos hugged Coulier.
The 61-year-old wrote in the caption, “My brother from Day 1. Love you @dcoulier and I’ll be by your side through it all.”

The 65-year-old stand-up comedian’s wife Melissa Bring commented, “Love you PP - thank you for the daily support and love!! ❤️❤️”
Dave Coulier calls John Stamos ‘truly a brother’
Dave Coulier also talked about John Stamos’ love for him during his interview with People. The television host said, “I can't wait for him to visit, November 15, I get a chemo treatment. November 16, John's going to be here.”
“He goes, ‘If you want to just sleep, I'll just sit by you or if you want to listen to music or just talk, whatever.’ And I'm just like, ‘Wow. That's like a brother. That's just truly a brother,’” he added.
This came after Coulier opened up about his diagnosis. Due to an upper respiratory infection, he got a major swelling in his lymph nodes.
After getting done with PET and CT scans along with a biopsy, he got the news.

"Three days later, my doctors called me back and they said, ‘We wish we had better news for you, but you have non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and it's called B cell and it's very aggressive,” he told People.
The podcaster shared, “I went from, I got a little bit of a head cold to I have cancer, and it was pretty overwhelming. This has been a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey.”
Also, on his podcast, ‘Full House Rewind’ with Marla Sokoloff, Coulier, wearing a hat, said that he’s always been “a man of many hats, but this hat has special significance because a couple of weeks ago, I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.”
He asserted that he won’t “try and hide anything. I would rather talk about it and open the discussion and inspire people.”
Showcasing his determination, Coulier added, “I looked at how those words affected [Melissa] and I thought, you know what, I'm going to be strong throughout this, not just for me, but I'm going to be strong for her.”
