LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On Monday night’s episode of 'The Daily Show', Jon Stewart criticized former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy for calling Donald Trump a “truth teller.”

In the episode, Jon Stewart presented clips of Donald Trump supporters expressing their loyalty, highlighting reasons such as his support for workers and commitment to free speech, according to The HIl.
However, he juxtaposed these statements with Trump’s own remarks that contradict those claims.
This prompted Stewart to challenge the idea that Trump, who has consistently made unfounded assertions during his political career, genuinely tells the truth.

Jon Stewart then aired excerpts from a recent presidential debate, emphasizing Donald Trump's false statements, such as his assertion that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, are eating residents' pets.
“We find ourselves not in a dilemma, but in a bit of a conundrum,” Stewart remarked. “The qualities and policies that people profess to admire about former President Trump don’t seem to accurately reflect who he is.”
He added, “It’s as though they’ve created a fictional character, a bizarro Trump.”
Stewart concluded with a pointed question: “What country does Donald Trump think he’s running to lead?”
In reaction to Stewart’s critique, a spokesperson for the Trump campaign dismissed him as “a washed-up nobody who doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”
