Joseph Kahn says Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce's wedding felt 'very intimate' despite the lavish setting
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding may have been one of the year's most star-studded events, but according to one guest, it never lost its personal touch.
Filmmaker Joseph Kahn, who attended the couple's Friday, July 3, ceremony, has shared a glimpse into the celebration, revealing that the wedding felt surprisingly intimate despite its lavish setting and A-list guest list.
Reflecting on the experience, Kahn wrote that it was "so much funnier and emotional than expected" and that "as big as it was, it also felt very intimate." He also recalled meeting Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, adding that "literally everyone was there."

Unlike some wedding guests, Kahn chose not to reveal any behind-the-scenes details from Swift and Kelce's big day. Instead, he shared a heartfelt note congratulating the newlyweds and expressing his gratitude for being part of the celebration, alongside a single photo featuring a pink backdrop.
He began, "Had a wonderful time at Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce's wedding last night. I got to meet Steven Spielberg and the lovely Kate Capshaw and talk filmmaking with the GOAT (lifelong dream achieved)."
"What I will say about the wedding was it was so much funnier and emotional than expected, and as big as it was, it also felt very intimate. And yes, literally everyone was there," he continued.
"I told Lotte many times it was like living in the internet, and AI would crack if it tried to render it. Anyway congratulations Taylor and Travis! Wishing your beautiful family and future family endless happiness!" he concluded.
AMC CEO deletes Taylor Swift wedding post
AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron made headlines after sharing a detailed account of the celebration on social media before quickly deleting the post.
Before removing the posts, Aron shared several intimate details from the private ceremony. He wrote, "I wish you all could have been there with me," before adding, "Tonight, a new era in that romantic story commenced." He also called it "such a privilege to be THERE."

His posts went beyond emotional reflections. Aron even described the couple's wedding vows and the exchange of rings, offering fans a rare glimpse inside the ceremony.
The posts quickly drew widespread attention because guests were reportedly not allowed to bring any electronic devices, including mobile phones, into the wedding. That made Aron's detailed account all the more surprising. Although the posts were later deleted, screenshots had already begun circulating online.
