LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Gwyneth Paltrow has surprised many over the years with her incredible looks and demeanor. While a rigid wellness regime is probably the reason for the actress's appearance, it is the 'eyes-open meditation' technique that she relies on 'to feel more whole'.

Talking at a webinar for her latest collaboration with a meditation app, Moments of Space, the star shared, “In my early 20s, I didn’t have much of a morning routine.” She continued, “I was either going out with friends and sleeping late or getting up really early to go on set,” she added.

But now, the 51-year-old Paltrow, who heads GOOP, a $250 million wellness empire, reveals that her morning regime “involves some meditation and some exercise.”

Gwyneth Paltrow says meditation helps one stay engaged with the world

She suggested, "Once you learn how to do eyes-open meditation – something you can literally incorporate at any time – you can be engaged with the world but still very connected to yourself."

Paltrow said. "I rely on it to feel more whole. I relied on my eyes open meditation to connect to my highest self, to not lapse into reactivity, to try and keep my ego out of it,” she said, per the Independent.

“Especially when we feel something is not fair, or unjust, someone’s not living up to their end of the bargain, or something,” she added.
