Gwyneth Paltrow shares her wellness routine
Speaking about her father's diagnosis and her wellness journey, Paltrow posted a video filmed at Goop headquarters in Santa Monica, California.
“It was actually because my father was diagnosed with cancer when I was about 25 years old and that started to catalyze my foray into understanding food, environmental toxins, food as medicine [and] alternative stuff like acupuncture,” said Paltrow.
“So it started a long time ago ... I don’t know, in the mid-'90s, because of my dad,” she added.
In 2023, the 'Avengers' star shared her wellness routine which included intake of "cooked vegetables, all kinds of protein, healthy carbs" that would help lower inflammation in her body.
"It's been working really well. This is based on my medical results and extensive testing that I've done over time," she added.

Paltrow previously opened up about her father Bruce's cancer diagnosis during another Instagram Story Q&A with her followers in August 2023.
She shared the things she missed about her father who died from throat cancer at the age of 58 in October 2002.
“I miss my dad so much and I miss his humor. I was just on a walk with a friend this morning, and even she was talking about the things that my dad used to say," she said at the time.
"His phrases. He was kind of a philosopher, in his own way. And just had the most brilliant one-liners," Paltrow added.
The Oscar winner's mother Blythe Danner revealed in 2022 that she was in remission from oral cancer, according to People.
"Everyone is touched by cancer in some way, but it's unusual for a couple to have the same cancer," Danner said at the time.
"I remember I looked up at heaven and said to Bruce, 'Are you lonely up there?' ", the 81-year-old recalled being diagnosed in March 2018.
"It's a sneaky disease. But I'm fine and dandy now. And I'm lucky to be alive," she added.
