INDIO, CALIFORNIA: Justin Bieber’s headlining act at Coachella 2026 marked his major return to a live show after a nearly four-year hiatus. The global pop star made history as the highest-paid artist to headline the show, earning an alleged $10 million cheque for his performance.

Bieber’s set garnered immense buzz on social media and also became the most-searched act in the history of the festival. Additionally, he sold merchandise worth $5 million for his brand Skylark in one weekend, the highest merch sales in Coachella history.

After performing to a sold-out crowd during both of the Coachella weekends, Bieber took to Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) to share glimpses of his performance, which featured a 34-song setlist as well as multiple guest artists.

As the 27th edition of the festival came to a close, in addition to carousel posts containing stills from his shows, Bieber also shared a humorous edited image of himself.

Following his weekend two headlining show, Bieber took to social media to share a hilarious AI-generated meme-like photo of himself performing on the Coachella stage as a toddler.

The image shows a tiny and toddler-like version of Bieber singing on-stage. The figure features an oversized head and large boots with a miniature body, creating a cartoonish effect.

He is seen wearing a red beanie, sleeveless top, and long shorts, a replica of the outfit Bieber won for his show during the second Coachella weekend. The caricatured version of the pop star also appears to be mid-performance and is seen holding a large microphone.

The image also replicates a real concert setting, mirroring Bieber’s Coachella stage with red color tones and a blurred crowd in the background. The photo appears to be playful and is distorted intentionally for comedic effect.

Fans react to Justin Bieber’s meme-like Coachella photo

Netizens couldn’t hold back their laughter and took to social media to react to Bieber sharing the meme.

“Who made this. Not what we meant when we said we loved small Justin,” one fan replied.

“THIS IS HOW JACK WILL THINK THAT YOU LOOKED WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER HELP,” another added, alluding to the singer's son Jack Blues Bieber.

A third fan said, “Why did I laugh so hard (laughter emojis) We love little Justin (fire emojis).”

“The designer took the "we want little Bieber" literally,” one commented.

Another asked, “Headlining coachella via mac and now shrinking to pocket-size bieber. So whats next for this comeback??”

Bieber delivered a mix of nostalgia and newness during his Coachella 2026 sets. While he sang several song from his newest albums ‘Swag’ and ‘Swag II,’ he also speed run through his earlier hits like ‘Baby,’ ‘U Smile,’ ‘Never Say Never,’ and ‘Beauty and a Beat,’ among others, streaming the old music videos on his laptop and singing along the tracks.

The pop star also added a special touch to his weekend two set at Coachella 2026, by bringing longtime superfan and fellow singer-songwriter, Billie Eilish, onstage as his ‘One Less Lonely Girl,’ a concert tradition from his early shows, carried out to make one of his fans feel special during the performance of the song of the same name.
