NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Republican strategist Karl Rove hinted that President Biden could consider stepping down before November, saying his campaign is "bleeding out in front of us" due to his lackluster performance in last week's debate against Donald Trump

During an appearance on Fox News' 'America Reports' on Friday, July 5, Rove remarked, "That situation has deteriorated, and who thinks that’s going to turn around?" He swiftly added, "It’s not."

Rove went on to say that he believes most people no longer want to vote for the POTUS, and that if the Democratic Party continues with Biden as its nominee, it would likely lose the race.

"I bet you that he is gone," confidently asserted the political consultant to guest host Alicia Acuna, adding, "His campaign is bleeding out in front of us, and it’s going to end and end shortly."

Rove, who served as senior adviser and deputy chief of staff to former President George W Bush, referenced polling data indicating that while Republicans feel considerable enthusiasm about voting for former President Trump, enthusiasm among Democrats for voting for Biden has notably subdued.

"We’ve seen polls over the last year and a half that, before the debate, said the American people had deep concerns that he was not ready to serve another four years," said Rove.

Following the president's dismal performance in the June 27 debate, Democrats have been in a state of widespread concern. Questions not only linger about Biden's chances against Trump but also about his capacity to serve another presidential term.

Numerous voices within the party have reportedly urged Biden to consider stepping aside and making way for an alternative candidate to challenge Trump.

Despite everything, Biden and his team have remained resolute, asserting that he is "not going anywhere."

On Friday, Biden told the Wisconsin rally crowd, "I am going to run and I'm going to win again."

The president added, "I'm the nominee of the Democratic Party. You voted for me to be your nominee, no one else. You, the voters, did that. And despite that, some folks don't seem to care who you voted for. Well, guess what, they're trying to push me out of the race. Well, let me say this as clearly as I can: I'm staying in the race."

Internet slams Karl Rove as he predicts President Joe Biden is going to exit the 2024 race

Netizens weren't keen on Rove's predictions regarding the future of Biden's 2024 bid.

One shared, "Wait, is that the same genius Karl Rove who had an on air meltdown on Fox when he couldn’t believe Obama won Ohio in 2012? Not sure Bush’s Brain has been hitting on all cylinders for a while."

In a similar vein, another observed, "Wishful thinking," while a person stated, "In your dream!"

"Someone needs to remind Rove that his guy is a convicted felon," remarked a person, pointing to Trump.

An individual took a dig at Rove saying, "He also said President Obama would lose 2nd term."
