LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: As Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, recovers from a recent abdominal surgery, reports suggest that she is facing not only physical challenges but also a significant blow to her confidence.

The 42-year-old royal, known for her poise and grace, is said to be grappling with feelings of fragility following what experts describe as a "serious setback" to her health.

Royal expert Jennie Bond shed light on Kate Middleton's current state, remarking, "Clearly, whatever’s happened to Catherine, she’s probably feeling fragile — mentally as well."

Making things more difficult for Kate, her uncle Gary Goldsmith was recently evicted from UK's 'Celebrity Big Brother' after he "talked relentlessly" about his niece with "some bashing of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thrown in", according to a palace insider.

"To have a serious setback like this at the prime of your life, it must knock your confidence, and so she’ll be fragile at this stage in her recovery and to have this thrown at her. She must just be thinking, 'Why, why, why did Uncle Gary have to do this?' I imagine she’s thoroughly depressed about it,' dished Bond.

Gary Goldsmith revealed on 'Celebrity Big Brother' that his niece is receiving "the best care in the world".

While Goldsmith has claimed that Princess Kate is receiving excellent care, questions have arisen about the true nature of their relationship. Bond suggested that Goldsmith may not be as close to the royal inner circle as he once was.

"I don’t think it’s a particularly close relationship and I don’t think he’s part of the 'inner circle' anymore — I think he’s increasingly been pushed outside that circle now," Bond observed.

Despite the challenges she faces, Princess Kate is expected to resume her royal duties "after Easter".

However, the media frenzy surrounding her health condition has raised questions about the level of privacy accorded to the Duchess and her family. In response, Kensington Palace has emphasized the importance of respecting Kate's privacy and providing updates only when significant developments occur.

Sources close to the royal family have acknowledged the mental toll that Kate's health scare has taken, noting that she is "naturally battling depression, which is common for anyone after a major procedure."

They continued, "To be stricken with such a serious health scare at such a young age is serious stuff mentally. Add to the fact that she was always so fit and healthy-looking — it's all just a bit too much, especially for her as a mother of three young children and as our Princess of Wales," reported by The New York Post.

Kate Middleton's name removed from British Army's website

Amidst speculation about her return to public duties following surgery, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has had her name discreetly removed from the list of participants for the Colonel's Review event on the British Army's website.

Initially slated to conduct the yearly review of soldiers at the Horse Guards Parade in London on June 8, her absence from the updated participant list has fueled further speculation about her recovery and future engagements.

The Princess, who is recuperating from abdominal surgery, was expected to make her first public appearance since the procedure at the event. As the honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards, she would typically inspect the Foot soldiers as part of the pre-Trooping the Colour ceremony. However, with her name no longer listed, questions arise about the timing of her return to royal duties.

Princess Kate's recovery timeline aligns with her office's statement that she won't resume public duties until after Easter, indicating a return to work sometime after March 31.

Additionally, the upcoming school vacation for her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, may influence the timing of her public engagements, potentially delaying any appearances until mid-April.
