Kate Middleton turned into family photographer to protect Prince William and her children, claim experts

LONDON, ENGLAND: Kate Middleton has often showcased her photographic flare as she has evolved as the primary photographer of the Wales family. 

While the Princess of Wales is known for her passion for photography and often captures endearing pictures of her young children, a royal commentator says her hobby also stems from the fact that she wants to protect her children from media scrutiny. 

In the Channel 5 documentary ‘Kate: A Queen for the Future', royal commentators have pointed out that the future queen’s passion for photography allegedly rose from the singular desire to protect her children.

The senior royal’s entire social media feed is peppered with the candid pictures that she captures of her husband Prince William and their children, Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte, per Marca.

The photographs are fine examples of her photographic and artistic skills to capture the essence of a moment, and by becoming the family’s photographer, she is trying to save her family from prying eyes, according to royal experts, 

In the documentary, the royal commentators shared that the princess became the primary photographer after she witnessed her husband suffer following the excessive media attention. 

Journalist Afua Hagan shared, "The Princess of Wales understands who she is, the position that she's in. She also understands the interest in her family, especially her children, that people want to see them growing up. So she understands that the press needs these pictures.”

Hagan noted that Middleton took the necessary step after witnessing the detrimental effect on the royal family, and said, "The Princess of Wales has seen first hand through her husband, Prince William, the damage that the press has done to his life, and so she's realized that if she can do something about that, if she can take control, then she should do that.”

The journalist explained that by becoming the primary photographer, she controls when and how the family’s photos would be released to the public. Thus, her decision to wield the power has helped her keep the family away from unwanted criticism.

Moreover, as another commentator noted, through this move, her children are also spared the necessity to pose in a formal setting and maintain decorum in front of an external photographer. 

Commentator Ingrid Seward noted, "Kate has essentially become the main photographer of the family, thus sparing the children the distress of posing for a stranger."

As the experts have insinuated, this move has allowed the Wales family to release multiple photos to assuage public demands while keeping the scrutiny at bay. 

Recently, the official account of the Prince and Princess of Wales posted a picture of Prince William with his three children on the occasion of Father’s Day.

The photograph was captured by Kate Middleton and captioned, "Happy birthday Papa, we all love you so much! Cx."
