LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Following their Trooping the Colour appearance, the Wales family released a brand-new photo of Prince William and his children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, on Sunday, June 16, to mark Father's Day.

The picture, which was captured by Kate Middleton last month in Norfolk, shows Prince William and the children admiring the ocean on a calm beach, facing away from the camera and their arms around one another. All four of them were seen wearing blue tops and shorts.

Middleton's appearence at the Trooping the Colour ceremony on Saturday marked her first formal public appearance since receiving a cancer diagnosis. The Princess of Wales looked stunning for her much-awaited comeback, arriving at the annual ceremony in a royal carriage with her children.

She was wearing a white long-sleeved midi dress with a black trim designed by Jenny Packham.

Prior to the revelation of her cancer diagnosis, Middleton's whereabouts were the focus of rumors and conspiracy theories. A photo that the Prince and Princess of Wales posted on social media on Mother's Day in the United Kingdom added fuel to the fire.

The post showed a photo of Middleton and her children and was credited to Prince William. Soon, speculations regarding irregularities in photo started to emerge, with many suggesting that it was digitally altered.

International news agencies including the Associated Press, Reuters, and Getty all decided to remove the photo from circulation, citing inconsistencies.

The following day, Princess of Wales admitted to manipulating the photo,  noting, "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused."

Internet gushes over the Wales' as they release brand-new photo to mark Father's Day

A netizen wrote, "There are especially good families all over the world. This one happens to be royalty. I wish them the best life can offer."

Another said, "She is a class act. Don’t care what the opinion is about the monarchy but she is a woman worthy of admiration. William and Kate would be a lovely family even if they were not royalty, it's all about the character of the person."

"That picture is so touching. We all hope to see one next year of a healthy, beautiful Princess Catherine with her husband and beautiful children," expressed a person and someone else shared, "Such class. Amazing grace. Extreme poise. She’s beautiful."

"What a beautiful family and it was so nice to see her out with them," noted one more.
