Kate Middleton's abdominal surgery may have gone wrong, says expert as he speculates on long absence
LONDON, ENGLAND: Kate Middleton’s planned abdominal surgery in January 2024 followed by a subsequent absence from the public eye has led to the birth of multiple controversies and social media theories.
While the Princess of Wales is recuperating from her health issues and is not expected to be back to royal duties until after Easter, doctor George Crawford is weighing on her possible health complications.
Doctor talks about Kate Middleton’s possible health complications
While talking to TMZ’s new documentary 'Where Is Kate Middleton?’ Dr George Crawford hypothesized what could have gone wrong in the operation theater when the Princess went under the knife in January 2024.
In the documentary, Dr Crawford weighs in on the social media speculation that the mother-of-three has undergone something on the line of hysterectomy. While several other theories have been floated since her operation, this theory has recently gained traction on the internet.
Dr Crawford theorized that if she indeed went through a hysterectomy, then what could have gone wrong for her to have a lengthy hospital stay to receive post-operative care?
After explaining the operative process, Dr Crawford reveals the possible things that can go wrong with any patient.
After mentioning that it might not be the case with the 42-year-old Princess, Dr Crawford shared that if a patient experiences adhesions or scar tissue, doctors may need to remove extra organs out of necessity.
He theorized that it often causes an elongation of the hospital stay, which may or may not be true for Kate.
Piers Morgan theorized about Kate Middleton’s health
British television host Piers Morgan jumped onto the bandwagon to theorize about Kate’s health.
Talking to TMZ for the documentary, the 58-year-old journalist talked about the edited Mother’s Day photo that caused a huge uproar after getting served with “kill notices” by six major photo agencies.
Questioning the timeline of the photo, Morgan said, “I’m not convinced that the picture of Kate herself was taken the week before,” before adding, “I know somebody who saw her that week who said she didn’t look anything like the picture," per Page Six.
The ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’ host added, “It was just somebody who bumped into her who knows her who said she looked a lot thinner than she did in the picture.”
He, however, remarked, “Kate is pretty thin anyway and she was described to me as being thinner than usual [after her January abdominal surgery].”
He reiterated that since the Princess appeared “absolutely blooming with good health” in the family photo with Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, he had doubts regarding the authenticity of the photo’s time.
He concluded, “I do not believe that’s an accurate reflection of how she accurately looks at the time.”
Earlier he shared on his show, “I’ve been told some stuff that, if even half of it is true, it’s pretty alarming what is happening. I don’t know what to believe, nor do any of us – we’re not there,” per The Independent.
