Piers Morgan claims Palace is 'hiding something big' about Kate Middleton's health after surgery
LONDON, ENGLAND: Kate Middleton’s photoshop failure is generating missing theories even five days after its first release, including from veteran journalist Piers Morgan who believes the Palace is 'hiding' something.
After the royal family photo of the Princess of Wales with her three children was released by the official handle of the Prince and Princess of Wales, the rumor mills were abuzz with conspiracy theories surrounding the mother-of-three.
Recently, the British journalist shared his opinion regarding the whereabouts of the Princess, who has not been seen in any public engagements since January 2023 after undergoing a planned abdominal surgery.
Piers Morgan opens up about Kate Middleton
The mighty TV host landed himself on the bandwagon of concerned fans of Kate when he quizzed about the authenticity of the photo’s timeline.
To mark Mother’s Day in the UK, the royal family shared a photo of Kate with her three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Soon after the release, however, fans raised questions regarding the authenticity of the photo with many of them claiming the photo has been heavily edited.
The royal family even claimed the photo was taken last week, before Mother’s Day, which was celebrated on March 10.
Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months.

Following the backlash, Kate even took blame for the Photoshop gaffe and wrote in a message on X (Formerly Twitter), that she experimented with editing like an amateur photographer.
Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C

Now, referring back to the date of the photograph, Morgan questioned, "Was it actually taken last week?"
The 58-year-old host continued, "They say so but can we believe that? If it was so awful [it needed editing] why not release one of the other photos from the archives they never released," per OK! Magazine.
"Why is Princess Catherine, who is recovering from abdominal surgery, spending time hunched over photoshop, making amateur edits of official portraits when they literally have servants to do that,” asked Morgan before asking the pertinent question asked by many fans, “Most baffling of all, why not edit in the missing wedding ring?"
As the Palace earlier said in a statement that Kate will not return to royal duties until after Easter, Morgan said, "Kate needs a break, I agree, but it was their decision to release this photograph and it's led to even more conspiracy theories.”
He then hypothesized that Kensington Palace is hiding something from the general public, as he weighed in on the issue.
Morgan noted, "On one level [the edited picture] could be trivial — she could be fine and doing well and tried to do something to correct the conspiracies and got it wrong,” before adding ominously, “or it could be that they're hiding something."
He even referenced to some “alarming" stuff as he commented, "I've been told some stuff that, if even half of it is true, it's pretty alarming what is happening. I don't know what to believe, nor do any of us — we're not there.”
Kate Middleton's photo fiasco
Ever since the 42-year-old Princess underwent her abdominal surgery in January 2023, her fans became concerned about her health.
After Kate was photographed just a couple of times by the paparazzi, the Palace released her first official photo on March 10 on the occasion of Mother's Day.
However, the post soon garnered huge attention from netizens, as the photo was served with "kill notice" by six leading photo-sharing sites.
Among the conspiracy theories that garnered attention, one of the theories propounded by TikToker Allyn Aston gained special momentum.
In her viral video, the TikToker claimed that the photo is not only digitally enhanced but also a mash-up of previous photos of the royal family members.
She claimed that it was created from the pictures of Kate and her children from their November 2023 visit to a London baby bank.
