PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Ex-White House aide Kellyanne Conway shared her admiration of former First Lady Melania Trump in an article she penned for the Daily Mail, published on Wednesday, October 23.

Melania has been the primary counselor and confidant of her husband, former President Donald Trump, claimed the 57-year-old pollster, who recently joined the publication as a star columnist for the US election.

While one would expect Trump to fear his current rival in the race Kamala Harris, turns out Conway has news for all. Claiming to have an inside view of the GOP nominee and his wife's dynamics, Conway says he actually "fears yet reveres" Melania.

She also presented her as a "bold, confident, free-thinking modern woman" who was more likely to occupy the White House after the general election than Vice President Harris.

Kellyanne Conway on Donald Trump and Melania Trump's unique relationship

While Melania Trump has not always been on the same page with her husband politically, Kellyanne Conway claimed that "behind closed doors, Trump has, for decades, regarded his wife as a top confidante and counselor."

She asserted, "Whether as an international business mogul, a TV star or, lately, leader of the free world, it is Melania's opinion that he has consistently sought."

According to Conway, the MAGA spearhead "speaks of – and to – Melania in an entirely unique way. Really, he fears yet reveres her. He respects her independence, seeks her input, trusts her keen eye, sharp ear, and sense of people."

"I have witnessed their relationship up close, and it is one fundamentally built on mutual love and respect," added the political consultant.

Kellyanne Conway tried to differentiate between Melania Trump and the Democratic former and present first ladies, declaring that she had "plenty to say and nothing to prove."

Unlike Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama, the former fashion model does not rush to address the media on "matters that are best handled privately" or share her take on her husband's political opponents, as per Conway.

"She is an asset, a partner, an equal who is neither trying to control – looking at you, Jill Biden – nor controlled by her partner. She is what many feminists insist they are: independent, a product of her own choices, comfortable in her own skin," wrote the former White House aide.

Conway concluded, "She has been by Trump's side the entire time. Though never in his shadow. In fact, from that very first moment they descended the golden escalator, she's been leading the way."

Kellyanne Conway mocked over claim Donald Trump 'fears' Melania Trump more than Kamala Harris

Netizens reacting to Kellyanne Conway's claim about Donald Trump fearing Melania Trump more than Kamala Harris trolled the pollster in the comments section of the Daily Mail website.

A person quipped, "Melania knows too much…so he is afraid," and another joked, "He's so scared of Kamala he had to cosplay as a McDonalds worker in a shut restaurant to fake customers. She owns him."

A person refuted Conway's claims, writing, "Oh trust me, he fears Harris so much so he had to pretend he worked at McDonald's out of pure unadulterated jealousy that Harris had an honest hard hard-working life instead of Trump being born with a silver spoon."

They added, "By the way, his McDonalds stunt backfired. On his watch he refused to raise the 7.50 minimum wage telling advisors they don't deserve or deserve to unionize."

One more fumed, "It’s very telling and sad when a man 'fears' his wife. Clearly a horribly dysfunctional relationship. A married man and woman are supposed to be a loving, mutually respectful unit. She has not been seen once on the campaign trail. Pathetic."

"He fears his wife???? Hahaha. Ok! She clearly knows too much. lol," declared another person.

One who sided with Conway, wrote, "I love the way Melania has maintained a strong line between her private and public life, mostly on her terms," and another shared, "Melania's behavior has proven her critics wrong, she’s strong, steady and beautiful inside and out."
