Additional charges against Kendra and Joseph Duggar detailed
Joseph Duggar, 31, and Kendra Duggar, 27, are each facing four counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree and four counts of false imprisonment in the second degree, according to a statement from the Tontitown police department.
Authorities said arrest warrants related to these charges have been issued and served through the District Court. The department stated that to "protect the integrity of the investigation and the privacy of those involved, no further details will be provided at this time.”
Officials emphasized that only limited information can be shared publicly due to the sensitive nature of the allegations and the involvement of children.
The Washington County Jail told Page Six on Friday, March 21 that Kendra was in police custody and had not yet been booked.
She was later processed and released the same day after posting bond.
Joseph is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center for a case out of Florida. While Kendra has now been charged in an Arkansas case, earlier filings were focused solely on Joseph.
Kendra Duggar mugshot surfaces after arrest
Kendra Duggar’s mugshot has been released following her arrest on criminal charges in Arkansas.
In the mugshot, Duggar is seen looking directly at the camera with a neutral expression. Her hair appears down and tucked behind her ears and she is wearing a brown top.
Us Weekly confirmed that Duggar was taken into custody at the Washington County Detention Center after a warrant was issued for her arrest. She was booked at 4.56 pm and released at 6.19 pm on Friday, March 20.

Joseph Duggar case linked to Florida incident
The earlier charges against Joseph were filed by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office following an investigation into an alleged abuse incident that took place in 2020 during a vacation in Panama City Beach.
According to a statement from the sheriff’s office, Duggar is accused of engaging in unlawful activity during that trip.
Authorities said the allegations came to light years later and prompted an investigation that led to charges being filed on March 18.
Joseph was taken into custody in Arkansas, where he resides, but the case tied to the Florida incident is being handled in Bay County. As a result, he is expected to be extradited to Florida to face those charges.
Sheriff says Joseph Duggar will face equal treatment
Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford has spoken out following the arrest of Joseph, stating that the reality TV figure will be treated the same as any other defendant.
“I don’t care if he’s got a TV show, or who he is, or what he’s done,” Ford said while speaking to WJHG.
“He’s committed an illegal act and he’s going to be held accountable for that.”
Joseph, who previously appeared on TLC’s '19 Kids and Counting' was "arrested out of state" and charged.
