LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a recent interview on Fox News, Kevin McCarthy, the House Minority Leader, voiced his critique of President Joe Biden’s Oval Office hospitality, expressing what he described as a "depressing" observation.

McCarthy shared his experiences visiting the White House, noting what he sees as an unusual calmness in Biden’s workspace compared to those of previous presidents.

"I worked with four different presidents," McCarthy remarked during the interview. "That Oval Office is always usually humming. Things are moving and going around at all times. And Biden’s Oval Office, it is the quietest place. No one’s around. The only thing, there are cookies. He offers you cookies every time you’re in there. And he goes and gets them. I mean, it is a depressing moment."

McCarthy’s comments shed light on his impression of the atmosphere in Biden’s Oval Office, contrasting it with the bustling environment typically associated with the seat of presidential power.

His remarks suggest a sense of disappointment or concern about what he perceives as an absence of activity and engagement in the current administration.

Furthermore, McCarthy reiterated his earlier observations about President Biden’s demeanor, asserting that every meeting with him presents a different facet of his personality.

According to McCarthy, this highlights a challenge for the Biden administration as it progresses through its term.

"If he survives this," McCarthy cautioned, "he is still in the same place, and it’s more time in between now and the election that he could actually get worse."
