Khloe Kardashian says Lamar Odom hasn’t apologized after doc, ‘haven’t heard from him’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Khloe Kardashian says she’s fully moved on from her ex-husband Lamar Odom, and she hopes her family will do the same.
During a recent episode of her podcast 'Khloe in Wonder Land', she spoke about the situation with her mother, Kris Jenner. Kris mentioned that if she were in Lamar’s place, she would feel uneasy about the situation and would have reached out to apologize.
Khloe said she hasn’t heard from him at all. Instead of trying to fix things, she feels he has only continued down the same path.
Khloe Kardashian says Lamar Odom hasn’t apologized or reached out
During the candid chat on 'Khloe in Wonder Land', the reality star opened up to her mom, Kris Jenner, about where things stand now. According to Khloe, there’s been zero effort from Lamar to make things right.
"Haven't heard from him. Haven't heard. I feel like he's been doubling down." She went on to say she recently watched an interview where Lamar appeared to downplay their relationship, claiming “something along the lines of, ‘Yeah, that marriage made me more popular in the social media world.’” The comment didn’t sit well with her.
Kris seemed taken aback, noting that Lamar has always cared about his ties to the Kardashian-Jenner family. But Khloe wasn’t convinced. She suggested his concern only extends to certain people in the family, not her.
"I don't think he would care really about me, clearly," she said. "I would think he would be devastated to lose you (Kris), my sisters, Rob, like, just thinking how you guys would view him because he's always been very sensitive about that."
As the conversation wrapped, Khloe shut the door on any reconciliation talk. She reminded her mom exactly where things stand now. "We're not talking to him anymore,” she said, adding, "I know how you can get.”
Khloe Kardashian slams Lamar Odom over 'Untold: The Death and Life of Lamar Odom' comments
Earlier this month, Khloe Kardashian didn’t sugarcoat her reaction to comments made by ex-husband Lamar Odom about his documentary, 'Untold: The Death and Life of Lamar Odom'. She said his remarks made it seem like she wasn’t being honest and that didn’t sit well with her.
"All I did was tell the story that I was asked by you to tell, but now to, like, play in my face and now to act like I didn't do any of the things I did and insinuate I'm a liar is crazy," she said on the April 15 episode of her podcast. "I feel played."
Khloe explained that she only agreed to be part of the documentary as a favor. She thought she had already closed that chapter of her life and moved on.
"I feel like what's pissing me off is... I was done with this. I'm like, 'I'm never going to do another Lamar thing again, 'cause I'm all good.' But now Lamar is doing press (and saying he's) annoyed with me. Claiming or insinuating that I'm a liar, all these things, discrediting me, saying that I wasn't the one that helped him."
She wrapped it up by repeating how the situation left her feeling, frustrated and taken advantage of. "I feel played."
