Kim Porter's father condemns Diddy after seeing 'despicable' 2016 assault video of Cassie Ventura

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 2016 altercation video featuring Sean 'Diddy' Combs and Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura has sparked widespread discussion online in recent days.

Now Jake Porter, the father of Combs' late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter, joined the chorus of criticism against Combs after viewing the footage. 

Reacting to the video, Porter stated that he would never treat his enemy in such a manner, describing the incident as 'despicable'.

For context, the video shows the 54-year-old music mogul grabbing, shoving, and kicking Cassie during the altercation.

Jake Porter comments on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ video ‘I was disgusted’

Jake Porter, the father of the late model who was once in a relationship with Combs, told Rolling Stone on Friday, June 7, that he was "disgusted" 

Jake claimed, “You can say I was disgusted with the video, and I wouldn’t treat my enemy like that. It was despicable. I couldn’t believe it. I was in Vietnam, and I wouldn’t do that to my enemy.” 

Jake also mentioned that although he never witnessed Combs physically abuse his late daughter, the video made him "wonder." 

Kim dated Combs on and off from 1994 until 2007, and she passed away from lobar pneumonia in 2018. The couple had a son, Christian Combs, in 1998, and twin daughters, D'Lila Star Combs and Jessie James Combs, in 2006. 

Jake continued stating that the “horrible” video has now given him a “different outlook” on his daughter's former partner. “I didn’t know he could stoop that low,” Jake said. “I imagine it surprised a lot of people. I wouldn’t even do a dog like that. My heart goes out to Cassie.”

Jake also shared that Kim loved Combs, but “just couldn’t live with” him in the same home. “I think he was a very jealous person,” Jake said. “They both loved each other. Kim’s love was legitimate.  Puffy’s love, I don’t know what he calls love, you know what I mean? I really don’t think he has any idea what love is.” 

For Jake, his “concern is the children," he concluded, as People, reported.

After Jake Porter, the father of the late Kim Porter, expressed his reaction, many Facebook users have quickly taken to the platform to share their thoughts.

One user said, "Women need to choose better. Kim Porter is an educated man, a veteran and Kim Porter chose Diddy, a vile thief, sex trafficker, abuser and probably a murderer."
