LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A blast from Brad Pitt's 'Fight Club' days seemed to return to the ring when his son, Knox Jolie-Pitt, stepped into a Muay Thai exhibition fight at a downtown Los Angeles club. The teenager showcased his skills by throwing punches, moving confidently around the ring, and absorbing a few hits of his own.
Knox's appearance quickly drew comparisons to his father's iconic Tyler Durden character, offering a glimpse of just how much the son of Pitt and Angelina Jolie has grown up.
The outing comes amid continued public interest in the Jolie-Pitt family and reports of some of the couple's children dropping the "Pitt" surname. However, neither Jolie nor Pitt has publicly commented on the matter.
Knox Jolie-Pitt sparks 'Fight Club' comparisons
A new video has people doing a double-take. Knox stepped into the ring for a Muay Thai exhibition fight and delivered a performance that instantly brought 'Fight Club' to mind.
In footage obtained by TMZ, the 17-year-old is seen confidently circling the ring for nearly two and a half minutes, throwing punches, challenging his opponent, and remaining composed under pressure.
Dressed in black boxing gear and gloves, he looked right at home in the spotlight. While Knox largely stays out of the public eye, he often attracts attention whenever he is spotted training or competing.
The latest appearance sparked comparisons to his father's iconic portrayal of Tyler Durden in the 1999 cult classic. From his confidence to his ring presence, the resemblance was difficult to ignore.
Knox ultimately emerged victorious, celebrating with the crowd and soaking in the energy of the moment. For many, it felt as though a young Tyler Durden had stepped back into the ring nearly three decades after the character first appeared on screen.
Why Knox Jolie-Pitt still uses surname
While Knox continues to use the Jolie-Pitt surname, several of his siblings have chosen to distance themselves from the Pitt name in recent years.
Four of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's six children, Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, and Vivienne, have either legally or publicly dropped "Pitt" from their names following the former couple's 2016 split.
Shiloh legally removed Pitt from her surname after turning 18. Vivienne used only "Jolie" in the credits for the Broadway musical 'The Outsiders', while Zahara introduced herself as "Zahara Marley Jolie" during a sorority event at college. Maddox, the eldest sibling, has also reportedly stopped using the Pitt surname.
