Kristen Bell reveals she 'cries weekly' while raising two daughters with husband Dax Shepard
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Kristen Bell opened up about her life and why she is “crying weekly,” and it has nothing to do with her movies, TV shows, or podcast interviews. The 'Nobody Wants This' actress shared the real reason behind it during an interview.
Just because Bell flashes a heartwarming smile on the red carpet doesn't mean life is always easy for her. Her personal life with husband Dax Shepard and their two daughters, Lincoln, 13, and Delta, 11, also comes with its own challenges.

Kristen Bell opens up about challenges of family life
Bell did not hold back while talking about the challenges of marriage and raising two daughters with Shepard, acknowledging that life is not always easy despite her public image. “It’s hard. Do not think because I am on your television that it is easy for me,” Bell bluntly told Bustle in an interview published Thursday, October 22.
“It’s brutal. I cry weekly,” she admitted. During the interview, the actress shared that she feels it is important to open up about these difficulties as a public figure so that other people can see their own struggles reflected in her experiences.
“Oftentimes when you’re in that cyclone of puberty, you could think, my kid is the only one doing this,” Bell pointed out. “And that is just simply not a fact.”

For Bell, her family always comes first, especially when deciding which projects to take on. “Is this going to pull me away from my kids too much? Will I still be able to be the mom that I want to be? That’s really the No 1, to be honest. There’s nothing higher than that,” she said.
“I would easily let my whole career and all its legacy and notoriety ‘disapparate’ tomorrow if it meant sacrificing something major in my kids’ lives, or not being there,” the 'Frozen' voice actress added.
Kristen Bell says Dax Shepard returned four days after telling her he was dating others
Bell recalled that Shepard was still dating other people when he decided to be honest about where they stood. “We were dating for about three months, and I already knew that I was in love with him and he was hesitant because he knew he was still dating other people,” the actress shared.
“He sat me down and said, ‘I can’t have this right now. I think you’re wonderful, but I am still dating other people.’ And then I, like, liquefied and fell to the ground, but I felt incredibly respected that he had the balls to tell me we weren’t in the same place,” Bell further said.

However, Shepard changed his mind just four days later and called Bell. “He called me, and he was like, ‘I don’t know what I was thinking.' I was dating someone else but they’re just not as interesting as you, and I don’t know what I’m doing,’ and he came back,” she said. “But I still always remind him of when he broke up with me.”
