WASHINGTON, DC: On Tuesday, May 28, the consumer advocacy group, whose recent lawsuit against Kristi Noem was dismissed, announced its intention to pursue legal action regarding her unusual support of a Texas dental practice on social media, as per the New York Post.

The group notably claimed that the Republican Governor of South Dakota was "extremely evasive" and "threatening" when they attempted to serve Noem with legal papers.

Travelers United filed a lawsuit in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, alleging that Kristi Noem had posted an "undisclosed advertisement" on her social media accounts.

The lawsuit claims that she gave a five-minute testimonial, styled like an infomercial, endorsing Smile Texas, the Texas dental office that placed her veneers.

The complaint was dismissed last week due to Travelers United's failure to provide the court with evidence that Noem had received a copy of the case.

However, the organization asserts that it did serve the governor, and the process server's worries were validated by Noem's previous story of murdering her "untrainable" 14-month-old hunting dog.

A Tuesday filing by Lauren Wolfe, counsel for Travelers United, states, "Ms. Noem has recently been in the news for shooting and killing her dog. The process server felt legitimately threatened."

Moreover, according to Wolfe, the process server also stated that the governor was "extremely evasive" and "threatening," and that her staff "were hostile" during the proceedings.

Nevertheless, citing notes from the process server stating that the documents were ultimately placed with Noem's staff, Wolfe maintained that Noem was "successfully served" and that the matter should not be dropped.

Noem wrote on X Tuesday, "The baseless lawsuit filed by Travelers United against me was dismissed by the court last week. Their actions have exposed them as a fake watchdog group filing frivolous claims to smear me."

She further added, "To be clear, I never received compensation for any alleged ‘advertisements.'"

In a separate post, she mentioned, "If Travelers United continues to engage in baseless lawfare, then I will use every resource at my disposal to hold them accountable".

She informed the New York Post, "We would be happy to dismiss this case if we got a receipt showing that Gov Noem paid in full [for the out-of-state dental procedure]. We have made that clear to her lawyers and we have yet to receive any sort of documentation showing that."

Internet slams Kristi Noem as process server claims she was 'threatening' as it attempted to serve her with legal papers

Several internet users slammed Kristi Noem as the process server claimed that the Republican governor of South Dakota was "extremely evasive" and "threatening" when it attempted to serve Noem with legal papers.

A user posted on X, "She is a menace," while one added, "Maybe they should send a male server next time…"

A person also stated, "She’s so yesterdays trash," whereas one mentioned, "I’ll bet she can become quite prickly if cornered." [sic]

An online comment read, "Noem apparently thinks she can do whatever. Half of the states have now voted to legalize marijuana and so it happened. When South Dakota voted that way Noem went to work. She said the voters didn’t know what they were doing. She got the vote thrown out and overturned."
