Kylie Kelce reveals husband Jason was the only Tinder match she ever met in person: 'So glad I caught it'
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA: In a heartwarming and candid moment, Kylie Kelce, wife of NFL star Jason Kelce, shared how she and her husband first connected via Tinder on the Monday, January 6 episode of her 'Not Gonna Lie' podcast.
The 32-year-old also opened up about her online dating experience prior to matching with the former Philadelphia Eagles center, and expressed she was "so glad I caught it on the front end."
Kylie Kelce reflects on her Tinder experience and shares thoughts on the current online dating scene
Kylie Kelce revealed that she didn’t have any negative experiences or "horror stories" from online dating because she never met any other match except Jason Kelce.
"I did not have any horror stories before I met Jason because I had never met up in person with someone from Tinder. My friends and I would sit around and swipe while sitting together as sort of a fun activity," shared the soon-to-be mother of four.
She explained that when she used dating apps 10 years ago, anyone she swiped left on was "gone forever," which made the experience feel like a "different situation" compared to how dating apps are used today.
Kylie mentioned that while swiping on Tinder "worked out great for me" and for her friends who ended up marrying people they met on the app, she’s not sure she "would recommend online dating in today’s online dating situation."
The 32-year-old went on to say, "I do think there is a positive to the fact that you have so many options now. I think that maybe broadens your horizon or maybe [you end up] running into the exact same people on every app."
Kylie Kelce previously shared Jason Kelce fell asleep on their first date
Kylie Kelce had previously shared the story of meeting her husband, Jason Kelce, on Tinder and their first date in the 2023 Amazon Prime documentary, 'Kelce', as per People.
In the documentary, she explained that she didn’t realize she matched with an athlete because "none of his pictures showed Eagles football" and initially thought his profile might be "a catfish."
For their first date, Jason invited Kylie to join him and his friends for drinks at a local bar, and he recalled it being "very much like love at first sight" when they met. "Right away when she walks in the door, the most beautiful woman I've ever seen," the 37-year-old said.
However, Kylie revealed that 45 minutes into their first date, "he fell asleep at the bar, like just, out, like asleep, asleep." Despite the awkward moment, Jason called her afterward and asked to "try again," and he "did much better" on their second date.
The couple tied the knot in April 2018 and are parents to three daughters: Wyatt, five, Elliotte, three, and Bennett, one. Kylie and Jason announced in November 2024 that they were expecting their fourth child, a daughter.

One wrote, "Definitely you won Tinder! You need a cuz we know you won’t lose it like Jason does with his SB ring," and another said, "100% you won Tinder and so did we because of it."
"Jason is the true winner Kylie. He is married to you," a fan remarked, while one more added, "Kylie, you did win Tinder! My Tinder is severely lacking these days and full of repeats."
"Girls, the stories I could tell...from ancient paper ads to online dating options... Kylie, I totally agree you won the Tinder lottery!" another person expressed.
"I love that you and your friends sound EXACTLY like my friends and I that are single haha sitting and swiping is always a funny experience! Now if only I could find my Jason," a follower shared.
