LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fox News commentator Laura Ingraham took to social media on Sunday to denounce the Democratic National Convention’s “rock concert” ambiance, arguing instead that the event should focus on "the salient issues."

Her critique, however, drew sharp rebukes from various commentators who accused her of hypocrisy.

Laura Ingraham criticizes Democrats' 'rock concert' convention approach

Ingraham, who recently labeled Donald Trump’s new campaign strategies as a “loser’s strategy,” criticized the Democrats’ approach to their convention.

On social media, she wrote, "The 'rock concert,' 'vibey' DNC is in lieu of a convention where the main players are capable and confident enough to discuss the salient issues. They will entertain you, but you pay for it with lower living standards."

Sarah Longwell, a GOP strategist and publisher of The Bulwark, responded to Ingraham’s remarks by highlighting what she perceived as a contradiction.

Longwell pointed out, "Yes, it will be in stark contrast to the very serious people the Republicans had," referencing figures like Hulk Hogan and various Trump family members. Like Hulk Hogan, every member of the Trump family, and whoever Amber Rose is."

Conservative critics challenge Ingraham’s claims about the DNC’s entertainment focus

According to Raw Story, Peter Henlein, a conservative Army Iraq War veteran, also weighed in on Ingraham’s criticism. "Laura Ingraham is complaining that the DNC will be too entertainment-focused without enough discussion of serious issues. Did she make such a complaint when the RNC had a face-tattooed OnlyFans performer and Hulk Hogan as key speakers?" he asked.

"Shouldn’t conservatives be more concerned about what happens with the GOP than what happens with the Democratic Party?"

Dave Zirin, editor at The Nation, added a sarcastic comment: "Hulk Hogan really brought his policy chops."

Investigative journalist Lisa Guerrero chimed in with her own critique, saying, "Kid Rock and the fake wrestler guy would like a word."

Former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann also joined the discussion, remarking, "Oh Laura. Still fighting self-awareness."

Critics push back against Ingraham’s DNC entertainment critique

Critics swiftly responded to Laura Ingraham’s critique of the Democratic National Convention’s entertainment-focused approach by pointing out the GOP’s own use of high-profile personalities.

One user wrote, "Y’all had Kid Rick and Amber Rose and Hulk Hogan. Maybe sit down on this one?"

Another user commented, "Trump has kid Rock and Hulk Hogan at his rallies. Self awareness isn’t your strong suit."

One user replied, "Yes, Dems need serious people like Hulk Hogan and Amber Rose."

Another added, "Hahahahahah. You are such a hack. Those idiots played this garbage."

One added, "Christ you are such an unserious open-weave burlap sack of jizz."
