LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fox News commentator Laura Ingraham launched a scathing critique against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, accusing him of prioritizing the pursuit of former President Donald Trump over addressing genuine criminal threats to New York City.

In a segment on 'The Ingraham Angle', Ingraham expressed concern over the expenditure of taxpayers' money on what she perceives as a politically motivated trial.

Laura Ingraham criticizes Manhattan DA's focus on Trump trial over crime-prevention efforts

Ingraham didn't mince her words, suggesting that the financial toll of the trial targeting Trump must be staggering, questioning whether it's in the tens of millions of dollars.

She lamented the allocation of resources to this endeavor, which she believes detracts from prosecuting actual criminals who pose a tangible threat to the safety of the city.

"And for every hour spent on this was one hour less spent on prosecuting real criminals still terrorizing the city," she said.

"Not that it has ever been Alvin Bragg's priority — we know that. He's on the side of the criminals. His sole focus has been to nail Donald Trump. No matter what it took, no matter how he had to contort the law, no matter how much he compromised his own credibility," Ingraham stated.

Ingraham unveils concerns over alleged political bias in Trump trial

In her critique, Ingraham asserted that Bragg's agenda appears singularly focused on targeting Trump, suggesting a bias that favors criminals over justice. She accused Bragg of bending the law and compromising his own integrity in pursuit of this goal, casting doubt on the credibility of his actions.

"The only thing that this trial has proven beyond a reasonable doubt is that conflicted judges who partner with politically motivated prosecutors are a menace. They're perverters of the rule of law," Ingraham emphasized.

Ingraham went further to assert that the trial has laid bare the dangers of judges aligning themselves with politically motivated prosecutors, labeling them as threats to the rule of law. She argued that such collaborations pervert the very essence of justice, undermining public trust in the legal system.

"So, let's hope that the voters see that a weaponized criminal justice system is no justice system at all. What's transpired in that dusty Manhattan courtroom these past four weeks has been a complete and total farce akin to the show trials of the most vicious Soviet dictators," Ingraham concluded.
