WASHINGTON, DC: Laura Ingraham appeared to side with Elon Musk amid the Tesla CEO and Donald Trump's bitter feud.

During the Thursday, June 5, episode of ‘The Ingraham Angle’, the Fox News host said, “As for the president, he should simply disengage. Musk is his own person. The government contracts that he has stand on their own merit, they shouldn’t be called into question,” as reported by The Wrap.

“Threatening to pull them, that’s not wise, when five minutes ago you were, of course, hailing Musk’s work in helping rescue the stranded Americans in space,” she added.

Praising Elon Musk, Laura Ingraham stated that he’s “like the Thomas Edison of our time. He sacrificed for America personally and professionally, and he wanted to make the Trump presidency happen. And it did.”

The Fox News host also claimed that the feud is making Democrats happy, who “always wanted to break this alliance, I said this last week, and today, they got their wish again. “

Things turned ugly between the former DOGE lead and the president when Musk criticized a Trump-backed tax and spending bill.

Musk said, as per CNBC, “I was, like, disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not just decreases it, and undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing.”

Then in an X (formerly Twitter) post, the tech billionaire wrote, “I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination.”

Later, the Republican leader posted on his Truth Social account, “I don’t mind Elon turning against me, but he should have done so months ago. This is one of the Greatest Bills ever presented to Congress. It’s a Record Cut in Expenses, $1.6 Trillion Dollars, and the Biggest Tax Cut ever given.”

“If this Bill doesn’t pass, there will be a 68% Tax Increase, and things far worse than that. I didn’t create this mess, I’m just here to FIX IT. This puts our Country on a Path of Greatness. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump added.

In a previous post, he wrote, "The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!"
