WASHINGTON, DC: Representative Lauren Boebert (R-Co) and Kid Rock joined forces to mock Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on the social media platform X on Wednesday, February 5, reported The US Sun.

The incident took place weeks after the two MAGA enthusiasts were spotted getting a cab together at 2.30 am on the night of the presidential inauguration, January 20, triggering speculations of them getting together.

Former Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz called out tech billionaire Elon Musk, chair of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) last week on X, writing, "The richest man in the world is sitting at the Resolute desk, about to defund your public school. Trump should stop him."

Kid Rock reacted to the post trolling the progressive politician for his move to promote gender-affirming care in his state.

"Aren't you the moron that put tampons in boys bathrooms?" stated the 54-year-old musician. Soon afterward, Boebert joined the thread, commenting, "He certainly has made himself as irrelevant (as) tampon for men."

Lauren Boebert and Kid Rock sparked dating rumors

Lauren Boebert, 34, was seen enjoying herself with Kid Rock at one of the inaugural parties in honor of President Donald Trump last month.

An insider source reportedly told TMZ at the time that the Congresswoman "was totally transfixed by the rock star, yapping away, doing a little dance, and clapping like she was front row at his concert — basically giving Kid Rock all the hype he needed.”

Later that night, they reportedly shared a cab, which led to rumors of the two getting together.

Apart from their similarly aligned political views, the two also share other interests, such as in the hospitality business. Boebert is the former owner of the Shooters bar in Colorado where customers were encouraged to carry firearms, while Kid Rock runs Big A - Honky Tonk and Rock & Roll Steakhouse in Nashville, Tennessee.

Both of them also share an affinity for outlandish takes. Boebert once asked experts in a congressional hearing if reports of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) seen emerging from or diving into ocean waters meant aliens were present underwater.

On the other hand, Kid Rock posted a video of himself shooting up cases of Bud Light while leading the boycott against the beer brand Budweiser in 2023 for partnering with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
