WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Lauren Boebert attended the National Republican Congressional Committee’s annual gala in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 10, and it was her outfit that caught everyone's attention.

Over the years, Boebert has faced criticisms for the choice of her outfits, be it distressed skinnies and a cowl-neck top in 2020, or her parade outfit during the 2024 Fourth of July.

Lauren Boebert's choice of dress at formal GOP event draws ire

Fitness expert Ed Buckley posted several photos from the 2025 NRCC President's Dinner on April 10. In one of the photos, Boebert was seen wearing a tight-fitting black and white polka-dot mini dress, according to Raw Story.

Nicki Swift called the look a "Tiny Tasteless Work Outfit" and "inappropriate" for the official event in their story.

The outlet mentioned that if Boebert's goal was to flaunt her gams, she achieved it, and added that the event to which she chose to wear the dress was not the right one.

Interestingly, The Mountain-Ear published pictures of Boebert in the same dress in February, as she gave the keynote speech at the Lincoln Day Dinner at the Elks Lodge in Central City, Colorado, per The List.

Meanwhile, as other attendees opted for mid or floor-length dresses for the formal event, Boebert's dress rested far above the knee, per Raw Story.

Moreover, this is not the first time Boebert has made headlines regarding her outfit.

In January 2024, Boebert faced flak as she wore a black belly shirt to work along with a houndstooth blazer, featuring a single button closure.

The garment had a snug fit and created a gap at the bottom that revealed a sliver of Boebert's bare stomach, according to Nicki Swift.

Similarly, in 2023, Boebert was seen in a gold bodycon dress with a low neckline that she had to yank up as she was escorted out of the theater following the 'Beetlejuice' incident, per the outlet.
