WASHINGTON, DC: At her victory celebration, Representative Lauren Boebert, a Republican from Colorado who won the 4th Congressional District primary on Tuesday, June 25, was spotted wearing fake Donald Trump sneakers, stated Newsweek.

Notably, in contrast to her successful election results dating back to 2020, when she was first elected to represent the state's 3rd Congressional District, Boebert's election on Tuesday was her first in Colorado's 4th Congressional District.

Wearing a white 'Make America Great Again' hat with Trump's signature on the bill along with reflective gold sneakers that looked like the former President's brand, Boebert—a devoted Trump supporter—took the stage at her election night victory party.

However, Boebert quipped in an interview with Westword that her Trump sneakers aren't the original ones the former president is selling.

Boebert told Westword, laughing, "These are very China, but I'm okay with that. If I could've bought the OGs, I would have."

As per the official Trump website, GetTrumpSneakers.com, the shoes are currently sold out. However, people can still pre-order them and they are 'estimated to ship in July 2024'.

Speaking to supporters in Windsor, Colorado, Boebert pledged to restore 'conservative values' and 'Christian morals' and to transform the nation into a 'righteous nation recognized throughout the world', as per Daily Beast.

She said, "Tonight we had a priority, and that was to glorify and honor God. To praise the name of Jesus, to invite the Holy Spirit to be present, not only in this room, but in Colorado’s 4th District, throughout Colorado, and throughout the United States of America!"

Boebert joked as she spent hours interacting with supporters rather than being driven out by assistants upon the announcement of her victory. She said, "Just because I don’t know who my dad is" while joking about the lack of a father figure in her life, as reported by The Independent.

A Boebert campaign staffer said, "She’s got ‘it’. I mean, you see it every time she gets up and talks to people. No one is telling her to say this. She’s speaking from the heart."
