Liam Payne's buddy Roger Nores, who is accused of abandoning him, blames Argentinian hotel for his death
BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA: Liam Payne's close friend, Rogelio "Roger" Nores, is pushing back against allegations that he abandoned the late singer during a binge in Buenos Aires.
Instead, Nores is blaming the CasaSur Palermo Hotel for failing to ensure Payne's safety during his final days.
Roger Nores blames CasaSur Palermo Hotel for Liam Payne’s death
According to newly filed legal documents obtained by TMZ, Nores argued that the hotel should be investigated for its alleged negligence in Liam Payne's tragic death.
He claimed the hotel failed to meet legal obligations, such as providing access to a 24-hour doctor despite being legally required to do so.
He argued that this failure contributed to Payne’s death, saying, “A world-famous person was staying with obvious signs of being going through a crisis caused by drug intake at that very moment, and they did not even make an effort there to make up for their legal omission of having a 24-hour doctor,” Nores said in the documents.
Roger Nores claims hotel manager left Liam Payne alone
Roger Nores further claimed that the CasaSur Palermo Hotel staff, including the operations manager, were aware that Liam Payne was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
He has accused them of failing to provide necessary medical care to Payne besides questioning the non-availability of a doctor from the moment the late singer checked in.
He has also denied that he abandoned Payne and instead blamed the hotel’s operations manager left the singer alone in his room, according to TMZ.
Nores claimed the hotel knew Payne was intoxicated and on a three-day bender but did not intervene appropriately.
Roger Nores claims he was trying to escape from hotel when he fell to death
Roger Nores further claimed that the hotel manager was responsible for leaving Liam Payne alone, adding that he attempted to escape the hotel.
He asserted Payne had a hat and a bag with him when he fell, which Nores believes indicates the singer was trying to leave the hotel at the time of the fatal incident.
The legal conflict is anticipated to intensify, with the report indicating that a judge is slated to visit the hotel to examine security camera footage and conduct a room inspection.
Liam Payne tragically died on October 16 after falling from the hotel room building.
