Over the years, Donald Trump's hair has received enormous attention. However, the real estate tycoon's hairstyles turned weirder as he climbed the steps of business and politics. Trump's hairdo has changed, with different colors and styles, from adulthood to the present. Here is a look at the evolution of the former president's hairstyle.

1. Donald Trump's organic-looking hairstyle in 1976

Under the plan Trump will purchase and refurbish the Commodore Hotel, which closed into doors 5/18, from the Penn Central Transportation Corp. In return for his $10-million-dollar purchase and up to $100 million face-lifting investment, Trump will have no real estate taxes for 40 years. (Bettmann)

In 1976, Trump indeed had a remarkable flair for fashionable hairstyles. As the future US president was establishing his billion-dollar real estate business, he opted for a more organic hairstyle at the age of 30.

Trump changed the parting style of his hair in the 1980s. In the picture from 1985 with his first wife, Ivana Trump, the former president could be seen parting his hair from left to right, which he continues to this day. During this period, Trump's hairline hadn't yet started receding, although it did worsen later.

Trump's harline started to recede severely in the 1990s. He underwent an alleged scalp reduction in 1989, as per the divorce papers filed by Ivana Trump and later written in her 1993 memoir 'Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J Trump'. The receding hairline may or may not be an aftereffect of the procedure.

Trump, in 2000, opted to experiment with his hair color. In the picture during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the opening of Riverside Park South, the real estate mogul could be seen with the then elegant shade known as 'Cigar-Stained-Teeth Blonde' on his hair and eyebrows.

Trump's hair coloring took a turn in 2002 when he appeared with another chic shade. In the 2002 photograph, while he announced the purchase of Ocean Trails Golf Club in the Rancho Palos Verdes community, the business magnate modified his hair color to Burnt-Cheetos Auburn.

Trump's hairstyle in 2003 evolved by experimenting with white roots and light filaments wrapped on the backside of his head. This particular style was mocked as the real estate mogul's 'middle-aged club kid' phase.

The 70-year-old Republican's 2016 presidential campaign took a toll on his hairstyle. Many noticed his duck-tale-shaped hairstyle as he shook hands with supporters and kissed babies on the campaign trail. In the photo above, Trump's haircut had a curled back and crazy side wings that looked amateurish. Trump continued with the same style after he won the election in 2016, although the backside view looked like Scrooge McDuck's backend.

Trump's usually nested hair looked deflated while he attended a service at the McLean Bible Church in Vienna, Virginia, on Sunday, June 2, 2019. The tacky look was clarified by MSNBC's Chris Hayes, who said the then-president was playing golf before the church visit, and he removed his baseball hat at the last minute, thinking it would be disrespectful inside a holy place. The flattened and swooped back resembled an elder version of the villain Biff Tannen in 'Back to the Future Part II'.

Trump's aging was evident in the way his hair looked at the 2022 New Year's Eve celebration in Mar-a-Lago. His hair looked particularly see-through. Additionally, his signature forehead swoop had extra volume and frizz, appearing more detached from the rest of his hair than usual.
