WASHINGTON, DC: Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene unleashed a verbal tirade against Anthony Fauci during a hearing of the Select Subcommittee on the coronavirus pandemic.

The Georgia Republican accused the former government scientist of several wrongdoings, including suppressing information about the origins of Covid-19 and funding the research that reportedly led to the pandemic, according to The Independent

Marjorie Taylor Greene refuses to acknowledge Anthony Fauci as a doctor

Screaming at the former government scientist, Greene repeatedly refused to address Fauci by his medical title 'Dr Fauci' instead she referred to him as 'Mr Fauci' throughout the hearing.

While asking a question, the Georgia right-wing firebrand said, "Mr Fauci -- because you’re not ‘doctor’ -- you’re Mr Fauci,” adding, “No, I don’t need your answer.”

Criticizing Fauci's past statements that people criticizing him meant they criticized science, Greene asked if he represented science.

“It’s not a yes or no. We’ll take that a ‘you-don’t-know-what-you-represent,’” she said.

During the heated hearing, Greene held up images of beagles used in experiments funded by the National Institutes of Health.

“As a dog lover, I want to tell you this is disgusting and evil, what you signed off on, and these experiments that happened to beagles paid for by the American taxpayer,” said the conspiracy theorist.

“And I want you to know that Americans don’t pay their taxes for animals to be tortured liked this," she added.

“Yes, because in my time, that man does not deserve to have a license. As a matter of fact, it should be revoked and he belongs in prison," said Greene.

She also accused the immunologist of making up the six-feet social distancing guideline, to which Fauci responded, “I didn’t say I made it up. I said it is not based in science and it just appeared.”

Greene then brandished the image of the beagles again, which prompted Fauci to question the relevance of the animals to the discussion at hand.

“What do dogs have to do with anything we’re talking about today,” he asked.

Greene linked the experiments to criticisms of pandemic policies, showing images of children in protective pods during school time "because of evil science" amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Your repulsive evil science. You know what this committee should be doing?" said Greene, adding, "We should be recommending you to be prosecuted."

"We should be writing a criminal referral because you should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity. You belong in prison, Dr Fauci,” she told Fauci.
