PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: It seems like MAGA congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene's boyfriend Brian Glenn has stirred up controversy.

Glenn, who works as a national campaign correspondent for the right-wing outlet Real America’s Voice, recently made some eyebrow-raising comments vis-a-vis election integrity.

At a Trump rally last weekend, Glenn made a case for what some on the left are calling racial profiling at polling places. He suggested voters should be scrutinized based on their appearance to ensure they are US citizens before they cast a ballot, the Daily Beast reported.

“If you go to a polling center and you see busloads, van loads of people walking up to vote that clearly perhaps look like they could be… let’s just make sure people are checking IDs because if people are going in with zero ID and they’re not a US citizen then they shouldn’t be allowed to vote, period," Glenn said.

The journo pushed for stronger polling oversight: “We need poll watchers that can perhaps sound the alarm if they think that is going on so that maybe some election officials can double-check on that. So if we start to see all these caravans of people coming in, let’s make sure they’re all legal before we allow them to vote. It’s as simple as that.”

Brian Glenn's suggestions spark left-wing outrage

Brian Glenn’s comments, of course, didn’t sit well with critics on social media.

"This is a crime. If this happens, report it. Do not let them intimidate you. Their goal is to try and make you give up and not vote. Make sure you vote or this may be how everything in this country is done under dictator Trump," one posted on X.

"He is asking for people to break the law to harass voters! The only thing voters have to do is give their info to the polling staff! Do not engage with harassers! Take pics of the harassers and report them!" another insisted.

"That's literally illegal and people can be arrested for that. How on earth does this guy still have a job at a Media organization?" one user asked.

"We need a paddy wagon at every polling station to detain & eventually arrest anyone who approaches or harasses a voter," read a comment.

"MAGA tried that nonsense in Fort Worth in 2020. It did not go well for them If they think they are going to intimidate voters of color in ATL, Philly, Detroit, Charlotte, Houston, etc, they better think again People died for us to vote in peace. We WILL defend that right," someone else wrote.

"They keep pushing this narrative of non-citizens voting as a sneak peek of their strategy when they lose. I have NEVER voted without showing an ID and the worker confirming that I was registered," another chimed in.

Marjorie Taylor Greene's beau Brian Glenn is 'next MAGA star'

Despite all the outrage on the left, Brian Glenn’s popularity within MAGA circles has only grown — mostly due to his relationship with Georgia Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene. Since the two started dating last year, he’s become more visible and is often seen by her side.

Politico even described him as “the next big MAGA media star." Glenn himself has embraced the attention, calling himself the other half of “MAGA America’s favorite couple.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene, for her part, hasn’t been shy about her feelings for Glenn either. In an interview with Semafor in April last year, she gushed about him saying: “He’s from the industry, so he is a great resource. He’s explained a lot, like how things work, and yeah, it’s great. So maybe I’m falling in love with the press.”

The love story reportedly began when Glenn interviewed Greene outside the US Supreme Court in June 2022. According to the Daily Mail, there was an undeniable chemistry between the two during the interview. Greene was seen throwing her arms around Glenn after he whispered something in her ear, and their connection only seemed to deepen from there.

A month later, they were spotted dining together at Mastro’s in California, further fueling rumors that they had become romantically involved.

Their professional paths continued to intertwine, with Glenn frequently hosting Greene on his show at Right Side Broadcasting Network. Viewers couldn’t help but notice the bond between them, which only confirmed what many had already suspected: these two were more than just colleagues.

With Glenn’s rising profile in right-wing media and his high-profile relationship with Greene, it seems like they’re shaping up to be somewhat of a power couple in MAGA world.
