WASHINGTON, DC: Elon Musk humorously responded to Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's (D-NY) X (formerly Twitter) post regarding her plans to file impeachment articles against the Supreme Court justices over recent rulings.

The Tesla CEO replied to her post with a parody news story formatted by Grok AI, which jokingly suggested that Ocasio-Cortez might aim to impeach the entire Supreme Court. He followed it up by saying, "AOC is losing it."

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez announces plans to file impeachment articles against SCOTUS justices following Donald Trump immunity ruling

Ocasio-Cortez's announcement followed the Supreme Court's decision to grant former President Donald Trump partial immunity from felony charges related to his attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.

She wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, July 1, "The Supreme Court has become consumed by a corruption crisis beyond its control. Today’s ruling represents an assault on American democracy. It is up to Congress to defend our nation from this authoritarian capture. I intend on filing articles of impeachment upon our return."

Ocasio-Cortez did not clarify which justices, or how many, she intends to target for impeachment, as per The Hill. Her office did not promptly respond to requests for further details.

The Supreme Court's ruling could significantly influence Trump's pending court cases as the 2024 election approaches.

The justices ruled that Trump and other former presidents are entitled to immunity for actions taken within their Constitutional authority while in office, but not for unofficial acts.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's announcement regarding filing impeachment articles against SCOTUS justices sparks major online backlash

Much like Musk, netizens ridiculed Ocasio-Cortez after she announced her plan to file impeachment articles against certain Supreme Court justices.

One expressed, "Elon Musk ratio coming in. AOC should go back to bartending," and another said, "AOC is meme gold!"

A person claimed, "AOC wants the Supreme Court punished for upholding the Constitution. (Not Kidding)," while one more observed, "AOC will be the new definition of dumb."

"We all clearly see she has neither legal education nor comprehension, and that she should go back to making drinks," remarked another person.

"AOC Your a fool. You should have been a bartender," joked a netizen, while an individual asked, "Are you really this dumb, AOC..?"
