ROME, GEORGIA: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s daughter has stepped into the spotlight as tensions between her mother and President Donald Trump continue to escalate.

The fallout stems largely from Greene’s push for more transparency surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s files, a move that has put her at odds with Trump. Greene has said the president’s rhetoric is inflaming hostility toward her and creating real concerns for her safety.

Lauren Greene Sanders defends Marjorie Taylor Greene

Lauren Greene Sanders went public with her concerns this week, urging supporters to rally behind her mother. She asked people to “please pray for my mom’s safety,” noting that the threats the congresswoman receives have grown increasingly serious.

When a user on X referred to Greene as “Marjorie Traitor Greene,” Sanders quickly responded. She pointed out contradictions in the user’s profile, writing that the person had “MAGA” in their bio while attacking someone she described as “one of the real ones” fighting for American citizens through an “America First” agenda.

She followed up by encouraging unity rather than infighting, telling the user to “put your ego in your closet” and warning that such attacks only help “fake MAGA.”

Sanders also pushed back against Trump’s claim that her mother was becoming more liberal after her appearance on 'The View.' On Instagram, she posted a clip from the interview and wrote, “Let me be clear Marjorie Taylor Greene is not becoming a Democrat. Never has been. Never will be.”

As the dispute escalated, Sanders shared another clip—this one from Greene’s heated exchange on CNN—adding, “So proud of you for fighting for the TRUTH!”

Marjorie Taylor Greene cites rising threats and security warnings

Greene herself has raised alarm about what she calls an “explosive” rise in threats. She said private security firms contacted her with warnings, which she believes are tied directly to Trump’s public remarks about her.

In a post on X, she wrote that a “hotbed of threats” was now being fueled by “the most powerful man in the world — the man I supported and helped get elected.” She added that aggressive rhetoric had historically led to death threats and convictions of men who acted on such comments. This time, she noted, the rhetoric was coming from the sitting president

Greene said she takes these threats seriously “as a woman,” adding that the fear it causes gives her a small understanding of what Epstein’s victims may have felt.

She also said Trump’s attacks were emboldening what she described as “radical internet trolls,” claiming many of them are paid to amplify hostility toward her.
