Matthew Guerra's cousin shares details of 'torture' after he was blamed for killing GF Savanah Soto
LEON VALLEY, TEXAS: Savanah Nicole Soto was the pregnant girlfriend of a 22-year-old man discovered dead in a car. The accusation of abuse against Savanah's boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, comes from her family.
The pair may have been there for days, according to police, when they were discovered dead in a parked car in San Antonio, Texas, on Tuesday. Guerra's cousin took it to TikTok to provide gruesome information.
Matthew Guerra's cousin reveals graphic details
When Savanah failed to show up for her scheduled induced labor on Saturday 23, despite being heavily pregnant, they were reported missing.
Though the bodies were not identified until the medical examiner confirmed it, Police Chief William P. McManus stated that he thought they belonged to the couple that went missing, Mirror reported.
A woman posing as Matthew's cousin said on TikTok that police informed the family he had been tortured. She stated in a video: "It's not making sense to me. The way they left him in the back seat. Laid out with his pants off. It was gruesome, they just said it was gruesome."
She went on to say, "My cousin's very very very tall. Savanah was in the front passenger seat and she had the car seat on top of her. My cousin was in the back seat, laid out, with his pants off. They said that basically he was tortured, but they didn't really want to get into the details."

The medical examiner will formally verify their identities, but it is thought that they are the two-missing people. He said he didn't know if a weapon had been discovered in the car but gave no other information.
The chief remarked, "What we’re looking at right now is a very, very perplexing crime scene." He said, "Detectives right now are looking at this as a possible murder but we don’t know for sure. Because of the complexity, the complex crime scene, we can’t say for sure what we have.”
Matthew Guerra was arrested for domestic abuse of Savanah Soto
According to the New York Post, Guerra was placed under probation for assaulting Soto on Christmas Day 2022, and was taken into custody on December 29, 2022, for making physical contact with Soto.
After discovering that Matthew had been detained for domestic abuse against Savanah in 2022, Gabriel Guerra, Matthew's father recommended that he be kept under observation for a longer period.
After he was charged with additional offenses, such as illegally carrying a weapon, eluding arrest in a car, and reckless driving, his probation was extended until February 2025. In addition, the 22-year-old received punishment for not adhering to the Battering Intervention and Prevention Program.
“They had contacted each other on the phone and that was a violation, so they can please keep him in there unfortunately it would have to be Savana to say that, and she wouldn’t do it, so he was let out,” said Gabriel.
Domestic abuse allegations were never made again. The young couple looked happy and unbreakable, according to Raquel and Gabriel. They believe Matthew could not have hurt Savanah, so they want to know who did.
“It’s gotta be something personal. I mean, I don’t know what kind of person could do that to a pregnant individual,” Gabriel remarked.
What does Savanah Soto's mother have to say?
Gloria Cordova, Savanah's mother, stated that she last spoke with her daughter on Friday afternoon and that when she knocked on her Leon Valley apartment door on Saturday afternoon, she received no response.
On Monday, Leon Valley police released a CLEAR Alert for Soto and subsequently announced that her boyfriend was missing. On Christmas Eve, Soto's family arranged for a search of the vicinity of her apartment.
Because she was going to be a mother, Savanah was overjoyed. Her mother said, "It breaks my heart."
When Savanah vanished, her family was inconsolable and publicly accused Matthew of being violent.
Savanah's upset mother posted on Facebook, "I'm worried about her safety because she is with her boyfriend who is no good." Guerra and Savanah were cohabiting when they vanished.
