Megyn Kelly asks Michelle Obama to 'shut up' as ex-FLOTUS slams US over Trump support: 'We made her rich'

This comes after Michelle Obama expressed frustration that the country continues to take Trump seriously as a candidate despite his 'erratic behavior'

WASHINGTON, DC: During her SiriusXM radio show on Monday, October 28, Megyn Kelly delivered a fiery response to Michelle Obama’s recent criticism of the country and GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and asked the former first lady to "just shut up!"

This comes after Obama expressed frustration that the nation continues to take Trump seriously as a candidate despite his "erratic behavior" during a campaign event for Vice President Kamala Harris at Kalamazoo, Michigan.



 

Megyn Kelly tells Michelle Obama to 'just shut up!'

Megyn Kelly didn't waste any time accusing Michelle Obama of lacking gratitude toward the country that she claims gave her “everything,” reported Raw Story.

Referring to her success, the host remarked, “I am so sick and tired of Michelle Obama whining about how racist and sexist America is. We made her rich and famous and beloved beyond any measure.

"Everything she has is due to this country, her Martha's Vineyard estate and her Chicago estate and her Washington, DC, estate and her Hawaii estate and her trips on the David Geffen yacht. I am sick and tired of her complaining about us. It’s like Oprah. Just shut up! All of your gifts are due to us. All we want to hear you say is, 'Thank you.' That’s it. That's what we want to hear you say."

Michelle Obama's scathing critique of Donald Trump

Megyn Kelly's critique comes after Michelle Obama took a swipe at Donald Trump by declaring, “I hope that you will forgive me if I'm a little angry that we are indifferent to his erratic behavior, his obvious mental decline, his history as a convicted felon, a known slum lord, a predator found liable for sexual abuse.”

She further criticized the scrutiny placed on Vice President Kamala Harris compared to Trump, noting the disparity in expectations, especially toward women.



 

"All of this while we pick apart Kamala’s answers from interviews that he doesn't even have the courage to do, y’all." Michelle added, “Do not put our hands in the lives of politicians — mostly men — who have no clue or do not care about what we as women are going through.”

Megyn Kelly slams Democrats for 'bending knee' to Michelle Obama

Megyn Kelly further criticized the Democratic Party’s previous support of Michelle Obama, which she claimed was so strong they would have done “anything” to see her run for office if it meant replacing Joe Biden.

“The Democrats were on bended knee with two dozen red roses, begging Michelle Obama to run, especially when Joe Biden started to implode,” Kelly added, pointing to what she sees as the party’s selective support of women of color. 

"They would have done anything to sub her in. Is it just Kamala Harris' race and gender, only when it's in the name and face of Kamala Harris being a person of color and a woman will stop you?" Kelly asked.
