WASHINGTON, DC: On August 7, President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump celebrated 200 days since resuming their roles in the White House for the second time in eight years.
Melania officially returned to the post on January 20, following her husband’s inauguration, and has since made her presence felt through a series of high-profile engagements.

Melania Trump commemorates 200 days serving again as first lady alongside Trump
Marking the milestone, the Office of the first lady shared a post on X titled, “The First 200 Days with our First Lady,” accompanied by four images, including two of Melania alongside her husband.

During her renewed tenure, Melania has attended notable events, including the 250th anniversary Army parade in Washington and the International Women of Courage Awards, where she delivered remarks in support of women’s leadership. She also visited a children’s hospital in the DC area, bringing attention to pediatric care initiatives.

Her most prominent policy moment so far came in May, when she championed the ‘Take it Down Act,’ a law signed by the president on May 19 that criminalizes the distribution of nonconsensual, AI-generated explicit images, commonly referred to as deepfakes.
Additional photos from her recent engagements were later posted, showcasing her public appearances and advocacy work.

In a past interview with Fox Digital, Melania disclosed that she would not reside in the White House on a full-time basis during her husband’s presidency.

Others took aim at her public appearances, with one asking, “How much did she charge for those public appearances?” and another adding, “She’s rarely there.”
How much did she charge for those public appearances? We know she can’t stand Donald, that much is obvious but is playing the role of “loving” wife for political reasons.

While detractors took shots, many praised the former model’s style and grace. “The classiest, most professional and beautiful first lady we’ve ever had. Thank you for all you do for America and President Trump,” one X user wrote.
