Mia Goth files for divorce from Shia LaBeouf citing 'irreconcilable differences'
As per TMZ, the 'X' trilogy actress decided to move forward with the divorce on the grounds of “irreconcilable differences” with the 'Transformers' actor. According to the publication, the petition states that the estranged couple married on October 10, 2016, and separated in July 2025, leading to the divorce filing.
Goth, 32, and LaBeouf, 40, have a four-year-old daughter, Isabel, who was born in March 2022. Reports say Goth is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their daughter. She is also asking the court not to award spousal support to either her or LaBeouf.
As per the Los Angeles Times, the 'Odyssey' actress filed her petition a day after LaBeouf’s ex-girlfriend FKA twigs, whose legal name is Tahliah Barnett, settled her latest lawsuit against the former Disney Channel star.
Mia Goth and Shia LaBeouf’s troubled relationship
Goth and LaBeouf met on the set of 'Nymphomaniac: Volume II' in 2012 and tied the knot four years later in Las Vegas in October 2016. However, after two years, the couple briefly separated, and LaBeouf began dating FKA twigs.
Goth and LaBeouf reconciled in 2020 and welcomed their daughter, Isabel, in March 2022. LaBeouf even credited Goth with saving his life during a dark period in his life.
Three years later, in 2025, the couple separated again after their marriage reportedly faced difficulties. Now, Goth has filed for divorce amid LaBeouf’s legal troubles in New Orleans following a Mardi Gras altercation.
After their separation, LaBeouf bought a $1 million home and moved to the Big Easy. According to TMZ, police were previously called to Goth and LaBeouf’s Los Angeles home multiple times before LaBeouf moved to New Orleans. Sources also claimed that Goth wanted LaBeouf to go to rehab.
Following his split from Goth and his relationship with FKA twigs, LaBeouf has since been linked to Nicole Mumphrey. The two have reportedly been seen together in the New Orleans area, according to several publications.
